Two characters belong to Billy-Cipher. He's given permission to use his characters multiple times in advance. His characters include Charly and Sean.

--------------

Karter and Charly... Two liars. One lies about their family and what they are, the other tends to lie about their romantic feelings.

She tried to avoid him as soon as she saw him at a party. The way he acted gave away his party boy ways as if it were daylight. She was trying to enjoy herself, but she felt crowded and alone.

Why had she come here? She doesn't know most of these people. Leon had thought it would be good for her to meet some people, however she stood away from everyone, third wheeling as her brother spoke to a man with mint green dyed hair. How lucky for her. Unable to bring herself to join the conversation, she kept a cautious eye on the party boy with the brown hair and green tips.

Late into the night, Leon is helping Sean take care of the intoxicated Charly, and Karter ended up being eye candy for the party boy. She merely stood there awkwardly, arms crossed and a cup in her hands.

"Sorry for all of this, but thanks for the help," Sean said to Leon.

Leon cheerfully responded with, "I'm glad I could help. It was nice meeting you two!"

By the next day after work, Karter had gone to the local Arcade to meet up with her brother, but "by chance" she bumped into Charly. She instantly tensed around the man. Her paranoid mind telling her he's bad news and that this couldn't possibly be a coincidence.
Was he a stalker?
No. Leon and Sean had set it up. Leon had gone against his sister's wishes by seeing Sean.
Why would she not want Leon to talk to Sean?
Well earlier that day the two found out that Sean and Charly are members of a gang. They never mentioned that to the twins.

"After you," Charly offered while holding the door.

Karter felt as if she couldn't bring herself to move for a second that seemed to drag. She quickly scurried past him through the door, giving him a quiet "Thank you" in return.

"So what's your name? I saw you at the pary last night," Charly piped up.

"Ask your friend," she replied with distrust.

"Oh... Uh... So do you like video games?" He brings up to the girl that was still a stranger to him.

"Yeah... I actually like them so much that I get to work on them."

"Cool. Any cool game?"

"Yeah, Resident Evil," She grins, finally loosening up. "Check it out! House of the Dead! Wanna play a few rounds?"

"Sure! Uh- I'm Charly by the way."

"Karter Carson. My brother's Leon, the guy that's been hanging with your friend Sean."

As they went to play the zombie arcade game, the told each other about themselves but never telling the other important information such as who their parents are or where they grew up.

They kept that information as if it's dark secrets, but for at least Karter it is.
