Chapter 24: An Apology?

Imp and May continued to stare at the figure in front of them. "Well are you gonna answer or look at me like your deaf?!" Imp yowled, unsheathing his claws. "I-Imp just calm down.." May meowed shaken, pulling him back with her paw. The figure in front of the two was Morven, his ears lowered as he glanced at the ground then back at May and Imp. "So..this is the welcome I get, Hmph..very well.." Morven scoffed as he took a few steps towards Imp and May, before he sat down. "W-Welcome?! Give a good reason why I shouldn't burn your grey ass back into the Rift!" Imp screeched starting to flex his claws. "Maybe he has something to say.." May meowed again to Imp, her voice still shakey. Imp glanced at May for a moment before he walked over to Morven and May followed right at his side. Soon May, Imp, and Morven were all sitting in a small circle, May slightly closer to Imp. Morven did a small sigh before he began to speak, "Look Imp..I know your upset at me, but if you just let me explain-" But soon Morven got cut off (Again). "Let you explain?!" Imp yowled grabbing Morven with his paws, slamming him onto the carpet. "I-Imp please!" Morven yowled in a strained voice, Imp's weight on him made it hard for him to breath. "Imp! Just let him talk!" May yowled tugging at Imp's shoulder. Imp turned to look at May his eyes black and narrowed. Shaken May let go of Imp's shoulder, her ears lowered and she backed up slightly. Imp then turned back to look at Morven. "If you weren't dead already...I'd burn you to a crisp.." Imp hissed into Morven's ear. Just then Morven yowled full of anger throwing one of his Fore-paws at Imp, his paw's claws were unsheathed. Imp jumped off of Morven in time to avoid his sharp claws. "Imp! Morven! Stop it!" May screeched darting over to them, when she saw the two toms starting to fight. Imp managed to pin Morven under him and was about to slash at Morven's throat when Morven screeched. "IM FUCKING SORRY OK!" Morven yowled, tears formed in his eye. Imp staggered a little, as he got off Morven sheathing his claws. May ran over to them both staring at Morven then at Imp. "I'm sorry..Imp..if I had just tried to comfort you instead of making you upset..I-I would have never lost my eye.." Morven panted sitting down staring at his paws. Imp stared at Morven in shock, before he finally spoke. "I-I forgive you.." Imp sighed.
