As I came to and quickly studied the room around me I sensed so many things. I absorbed a deep oaky paper smell similar to the smell of new books. I heard a silence that was full of noise in comparison to the white void even the smallest of details here filled my head like I was diving in a pool of rich senses. I soon realised I was in the abandonned library I had died in a few months earlier. BEEP BEEP BEEP 'My Vortex Manipulator! ' a code popped up on screen, I thought that anywhere could be better than this haunted place so I hit the activate button and I rushed through the time vortex.

My head filled with memories of the TARDIS flying through the air as the blues and reds rushed by in swirls of electricity, I just wanted to find him now, to get to somewhere or someone I knew.

I appeared in an oxygen rich atmosphere. I was on a type of street with humans walking past. I was so flustered. I read a street sign next to me 'Bannerman Road', it almost had to be Earth I was sure of it, after all there were no outstanding differences. Assured by the familiar surroundings I approached a short lady who was pulling into a drive on the corner of the road in a small, off green bubble car. As I approached her she rolled her window down asked 'Hi there, can I help you?' I took the chance and asked where I was. To my suprise she was extreemly comfortable with my otherwise strange remark.

She saw I was in abit of a panic and offered me a cup of tea. 'Or possibly something a little stronger?' she questioned with a grin. I entered her quirky house met by a grand hall 'Hi Luke I'm home!' the lady called up the stairs. 'Take a seat' she offered as I sat down with a cup of tea. We talked about how I'd ended up in the street and I told her a story that I must have fell asleep or was knocked down by a car. After all I couldn't tell her I had escaped from a digital library half the way across the universe!

She introduced herself as Sarah Jane as I replied 'River Song'. 'What a beautiful, interesting name that is!' she remarked 'Your parents must have been extremely clever people!' 'They are - were, they were' I replied with a stutter. It suddenly occured to me how familar and kind this stranger was.

Suddenly I heard a high pitched call coming from the corner of the room. 'ALIEN TECH LOCATED MISTRESS' followed by the astonoshing sight of a metal - dog I suppose. I looked back to Sarah Jane who had blushed and was clearly racking her brain for an excuse to the alien robot in the corner of her living room. Then my vortex manipulator started bleeping and the metal dog fired a presisioned shot at it. 'NO, bad dog K9!' Sarah Jane cried. 'Oh it's quite fine.' I replied. 'So what's that then?' I asked. She replied 'it's just my sons toy, you know kid's technology these days.' She questioned me about my 'odd looking' watch as she descreatly scanned it with her own. 'He's right!' she exclaimed 'You do have alien tech what's it doing on earth?'We soon realised both of us were an anomaly and that we both had a connection with space more so than that of any other human.

With a mutual promise Sarah Jane and I explained how we came to have our objects and I was first to explain. 'You see my life, Sarah Jane, it revolved around this man, this wonderful, crazy man. I traveled with him a long time ago now he showed me the universe in his remarkable space ship. But then one day he left me I saved his life and he saved mine. He thought I was dead and now I need to find him to warn him for his future.' During my outburst Sarah Jane's face slowly lit up a glimmer appeared in her eye. 'That man was my world, I could never let him go despite his apparent selfless flaws. His name is-'

'THE DOCTOR!' Sarah Jane screamed. 'Yes, yes you know him?' 'I certainly do I used to travel with him too. Only last year I went to his funeral to find he was alive, so very much alive!' 'Oh what a remarkable coincidence this is' I remarked. Sarah Jane and I later examined this and we knew it was so much more than just a coincidence. We sat there for hours as we swapped notes about the Doctor and our lives. We were determined to get to the bottom of this coincidence. I explained to Sarah Jane that whilst I was dead I visited the Doctor in spirit by his grave and that I needed to stop it from happening.

With the help of Sarah Jane's Marvellous computer Mr.Smith we managed to get in touch with a few contacts who could get my vortex manipulator up and running. Before I knew it Sarah Jane, her cloned son Luke, his friends Rani and Clyde and I were all crammed into Sarah's Bubble car on the way to Cardiff to meet a man who remained 'unamed for now baby'.
