I started my day
I was feeling okay
I walked out my door
My day was gonna be poor." Hey mami."
"What else you got?"
"Did you where that for me?"
"Cutie like you shouldn't be alone."All these calls
These men have the balls
It's not cool at all
But they felt the need.My age
My height
My gender
My outfitIt doesn't matter
These guys think
That I'm a snack platter
What's their matter?My heart shattered
Nothing mattered
A scatter
Of all these womenHarassment isn't okay
Catcalling isn't okay
I'm afraid
About my day.A/N- okay so this poem was going on in my head, after I watched about women talking about being cat called. And it isn't okay. I've been through it and trust me it's not the best thing to here. I'm not a dog looking for my treat. I'm not a walking you for you to admire. It's a situation where women are silenced for speaking out about this. (TRIGGAR RANT.) 🌵
