Lili's POV

Picking up the spoon in front of me, an unknown substance slides off it and splats back into the bowl. Well, that's incredibly appetizing-"Princess."- looking up at the voice a smile slips onto my face as Sweet Pea stands in the doorway holding up a bag from Pops. "Have I ever told you that you're the best." Trying to snatch the bag from him, he takes a step back with a wicked smirk on his face. "In order to get it, you have to give me a kiss, Princess." Rolling my eyes at his request I give a nod, once he's close enough I begin to lean in. Sweets lips begin to pucker slightly while closing his eyes, snatching the bag from him I lean back in my bed with a mischevious smirk. His eyes fly open in shock, "You're the devil incarnate, you know that Princess?"

"Must be the reason why I'm so hot." Sweet Pea lets out a chuckle as I begin to munch on my fries, "Thank you, Sweets." he looks at me before nodding, letting the silence wrap around us comfortably.

"Lili?-" Sweet's voice calls me, "I've been meaning to tell you for a while now, I just haven't found the right time since the attack and all. -" He lets out a nervous chuckle while messing with his dog tags for a moment before looking back up at me, "-I like you, a lot." shock can't describe how I feel, my feelings for Sweets had developed from the moment I had met him yet I didn't know if he liked me that way. Until now. The silence in the room could be cut into squares with a knife and thrown in the fire.

"-I shouldn't have said anything, I should just go." Pea fumbles with his words as he begins to get up. As fast as I can with my wound, I try to jump to my feet and only make it a couple of steps before crumbling on the floor. With the sound of a thud, I hit the floor letting a slight moan of pain escape my lips as Sweet Pea rushes to my side in worry.

"I was trying to do this grand gesture where I run after you and kiss you passionately while professing my likeness towards you. But it seems like my injury go-" He crashes his lips to mine, letting my eyes close I lean into the kiss letting it deepen until we stop to breathe. Biting my lip softly I look down at my lap waiting for one of us to say something. "So, from my guess, I can say that you are into me?" Taking a look at Sweet Pea only to see a stupid grin on his face, I chuckle only to be captured into another kiss that's more gentle than the first.

"Woah, Woah, Woah Break this up lovebirds." Breaking from the kiss I look up to see my dad.

"Daddy!!" Trying to stand once more, clearly not learning from the first time, I would've crumbled to the ground again if not for Sweet Pea catching me. Leaning onto Sweet Pea for the support I hobble over to my Dad whose also making his way towards us. Once we finally reached each other I let go of Sweet Pea, who hands me over to my dad, giving me a bear hug I let tears flow from my eyes. I missed the feeling of hugging my Dad, "Hey, hey no more tears Lili. I'm here now and I won't be going anywhere." As my dad cooes me, Sweet Pea's voice interrupts our moment "I'm just gonna go now, I'll be back later Lili. See you around King." He gives a swift nod to us before heading out.

"So Sweet Pea huh?" Dad wiggles his eyebrows before helping back onto the bed, "Ah Dad stop it." Embarrassment racks me just thinking of talking to my Dad about my love life, "He's a good kid Lili, always protects his own." I nod my head and fiddle with my thumbs for a while before looking up at my father, tears brim my eyes knowing what I need to tell him.

"Lili, what's wrong?" Concern laces my Dad's voice as his eyes hold mine, waiting for me to speak. Blinking the tears away I have to be strong and stop my crying if I'm ever going to do anything to bring Malachai down. "Daddy, I want Malachai to pay and I'm going to be the one to do it." Spitting out Malachais name, my Dad seems taken back before he starts to shake his head, "Lili I know you want vengeance but I won't ever let you get put into harm's way."

"Dad you don't understand I need this!" Letting my anger get the best of me I yell back at my dad, instantly feeling guilty I quickly apologize. "Look, Lili, the Serpents will get him back for what he did to you but YOU will be NOWHERE near-" "Malachai took away my chance of ever having children! " Screaming furiously at him I feel the tears slide down my face, so much for not being a crybaby.

"He took away my chance of creating a life, I want to take away his life." Staring my Dad down, his eyes shine with rage before nodding to me and takes my hand before whispering, "We'll make him pay Lili, I promise you he will suffer for what he did." My dad envelopes me into another hug.
