The world is ready for some modern royals
Take a look at your newest soon-to-be King and Queen of Herraden! Today, King Maxwell officially announced that he will be passing down his crown to his son Crown Prince Miguel and his wife Crown Princess Amalia.
The King believes implementing a younger generation than his son is vital for the House of Marvell to thrive in the future.
“His Majesty realized that Miguel and Amalia are the future,” said a palace insider. “He has spent 45 years making sure that the House of Marvell survives, and he sees Miguel and Amalia as having the energy and star quality to do the job in a modern world. King Maxwell will always do what is best for the long-term health of the monarchy.”
Hia Majesty has also said that he truly does believe the monarchy has the “respect and power.” The source continued, “In his eyes, Miguel and Amalia are the two people who can continue that.”
So while the rest of the world is excited for the change and step forward, it’s important to remember that they are, in fact, still trying to be a normal family.
