So, I'm rewriting this A/N for the third time because I keep on putting the oneshot in bold and I don't mean to do that. But anyways, this is NOT the original oneshot. The original oneshot was in third person and less cringey but I tried. So until I get the original content back, take this version in El's POV.

I was outside of the cabin on a starry night. I had jumped out the window with eggos and a blanket- er, two blankets. I used one to sit on (thankfully the ground wasn't wet yet) and the other one to cover up and stay warm. The trees were in the way of clearly seeing the stars so I used my telekinetic powers to break off limbs and branches that were in the way. Shoot, I need a pillow. I hopped through the window to grab my pillow, but when I didn't see it, I was confused. Where'd it go? That's when I spotted it... in front of the front door... what? Oh well. I went over to grab it when I heard soft knocking on the front door. It was the special knock. I opened the door shocked on who could've learned it, only to perk up at the boy in front of me. Mike! I giggled and tackled him in a hug. We both were laughing, when I heard Hopper. "Kid?" I heard him say. I looked to his door which had lit up underneath. Shoot. "Mike, you must hide!! Hopper can't know your here, he'll kill you!!" I whispered. We quietly ran to my room, and I had him hop out my window to the blankets. I almost closed the window, but he was almost to my door. So I left it open and pretended to be stargazing from inside. "Hey, kid?" I heard Hooper ask, opening my window. "What're ya doin'?" He asked. "Stargazing." I replied. He started walking over to my window. "HIDE!!" I whisper-yelled to Mike. He grabbed the blankets and ran to the side of the cabin. Hopper came to my side and looked out with me. "Yeah, nice night to gaze, El." He said. "Okay, enjoy the stars kid." He said walking out. When I heard his door close, I hopped out the window. "Okay Mike! We're good now!" I said. "Good." Mike replied to me. We both set out the blankets and enjoyed eggos together.

"Hey El?" Mike says. "Hm?" I reply. "Are you ever tired of having to use your powers as a tool or a weapon?" He asks. I was surprised by the question. "Well, yeah..." I answer. "I want to use it for fun things t-" Mike cuts me off. "Perfect! Gravity gets on my nerves anyway..." He says. "What?" I ask. "What if we both stargazed floating instead?" He asks. "Okay." I reply. I used my powers to make us float.

~3rd POV~

Mike tried to look at the stars, however it was quite hard to. Since he was mainly finding himself staring at El. He really was trying not to. Wait, no he wasn't trying to stop himself. He couldn't help it. The stars and constellations were reflecting on her eyes, illuminating their beautiful hazel color. She smiled contently staring at the stars. "Mike, they're really pretty..." El says, her voice like a pretty song to Mike. "Yeah, you are." Mike said, staring starry eyed at El. El's gaze transitioned to a confused gaze as she looked at Mike. Mike realized what he said and a light blush grew on his cheeks. His gaze quickly turned to the stars, almost as if it were a very bad attempt to cover it up or something. However, like said, it was a bad attempt, and El caught on. She blushes at his complement. "Pretty?" She asks him. He looked back at her. "Well... Yeah..." he trailed off. El wraps her arms around him in a hug. "Thank you, Mike." She lifted her head off him and pecked his cheek. The stars twinkled and shined, as a bright red blush appeared on Mike's face. Mike hugged El back, both gazing at the beautiful nighttime sky.
