It was a warm summer evening. The year was 1985, and a certain curly haired boy was enjoying himself. Him and El were cuddled on the couch watching a soap opera, when Mike looked at the time. It was 7:00. Summertime meant that the sun would set in about 45 minutes to an hour or so. "Hey El, I heard a storm was coming, but I want to make sure. I may be able to stay over!" Mike said. He had whispered the last sentence. "Okay!" El said. Mike changed the channel to the weather channel. As it turned out, it was just rain, but it would be raining between soft and hard rain. (If dat makes sense 🤷🏻♀️)
