☀️Sunburn☀️

Please enjoy this!! I REALLY had a LOT of fun making this one!! Song is "Sunburn" by Owl City!! ENJOY!!! PS this is the two teens in the present day but obvi still the same age ☀️

Mike and El sat in his room, entirely bored and didn't know what to do. Mike then supposed maybe El had an idea. "El?" "Yeah Mike?" El asked. "Any ideas on what to do?" He asked the girl. "Nope..." El answered. Well, supposedly not then. Mike looked around his room. Then he spotted it. His guitar. He smiled, and El noticed. "What?" El asked. "I know what we can do!" Mike said happily. He got up and ran to his guitar. He picked up his instrument and sat on his bed. El pulled up a stool and listened as he strummed a couple chords. Then he began to play a song. After a few seconds he began to sing.

"So there we were, back home from somewhere inside my head
Oh, bravely I fought off the monsters beneath her bed
Pillars of postwar books supported my frame of mind
While she memorized the pages that I tried not to hide behind

He blushed a light pink as he sang this

He blushed somewhere in between a red and a pink, as he knew what came next.

"But when her smile came back, and I didn't feel half has horrible
She gave me a heart attack, just because she looked so adorable"

El giggled and blushed lightly hearing these silly yet cute lyrics.

"Mike!" She exclaimed and laughed. These lyrics were something! Mike smiled, and enjoyed playing the song just as much as El enjoyed listening. He wasn't just enjoying the song though. He loved El's laugh. It was a cute and pretty one.

"So we were out there, unaware of where we'd been
We kicked off our flip flops and swung from the rooftops again"

He was still blushing when he sang

Mike ended the song. El smiled so brightly. "Mike that was so cute!" El said. Mike scratched the back of his neck and blushed. "Thanks El." He said. "But I have two questions..." She added. "Alright." He said. "Why'd you get a sunburn?" El asked him. Mike chuckled and said "It's a figure of speech probably meaning that I learn the hard way or wasn't careful or something... I dunno..." He said. "You said you had two questions?" He asked. "Yes! Uh... am I adorable enough to give you a heart attack?" She asked. Mike's eyes widened and he blushed more. "W-Well, not an actual heart attack of course s-since it's a figure of speech too... b-but-" El cut him off with a sweet kiss on his lips. Now, Mike actually felt like he had a mini heart attack. No really, his heart probably skipped two beats. (Not an actual one, DONT WORRY GUYS NO ONES DEAD!!!!) "W-Why'd ya do that?" He asked her, blushing profusely. "Cause you give me a heart attack just because you look so adorable!" She happily told him, giggling at the end. Mike scratched his neck and said "T-Thanks El..."
