|Chp 12| You're all I want

|Grayson's pov|

I woke up with the biggest smile on my face.
I remembered what happened last night and how Emma felt the same way as me.

It was the most amazing feeling.

I got up and went downstairs. I made me a bowl of cereal and a glass of oj.

"Why are you so happy?" Ethan asked.
"I ki- can't be happy?" I asked almost completely spilling my guts.

Ethan is my twin, I tell him everything. But I most definitely can't tell him this.

Soon we were walking outside to Emma's car.
"Shotgun!" Ethan yelled.
Great now I couldn't even sit by the girl I like.

The car ride was pretty awkward.
But soon we pulled up to school.
We all walked inside the building.

"Do you want me to walk you to your first period?" I asked Emma trying to buy us time alone.

She chuckled, "I've got it gray, thanks though"

I nodded my head and smiled, and walked to my next class.

"Hey," I said catching up to Emma.
"Sup," She said biting her bottom lip.
"Wanna walk to lunch?" I asked hoping she would say yes.
"We sorta already are" She said laughing.
"Right" I said blushing.

As we walking to lunch I see one of my friends, Brett.
"Yo grayson! Why, who is this pretty lady?" He said smirking at Emma.

I was so mad on the inside, but I couldn't show it because she was my stepsister and to everyone else, nothing more.

"This is my stepsister, Emma." I said looking down at my hands.

"Hey," Emma says sending him a warming smile.
I just stood there not knowing what to do.

"Me and the rest of the (football) team are going out to eat after school, wanna join?" He says breaking the silence.

"Um-"

"You can bring Emma to" He said smirking.

Emma looked at me then back at Brett,
"Actually I have cheer tryouts today, but thanks for the invite." She said smiling.

"Anytime," Brett smiled back.

"What about you Grayson?" He asked
"Oh yea I'll see ya" I said, once again walking to the lunch room.

Soon me and Emma where at the lunchroom and we had already gotten our food and we sat with Ethan.

As we were eating Becca, one of the cheerleaders comes up to us.
"Emma! I saw you're name on the list and I just couldn't wait to meet you!" She said approaching Emma.

|Emma's Pov|

"Oh, hey" I said smiling.
She quickly sat between me and Grayson placing her tray on the table.

"Do you have any experience with cheerleading?"
She asked.
"Yea, I cheered for my old school, and I did competition cheer." I said still smiling.
"That's great!" She said ending the conversation.

"So Grayson, what are you doing after school?" She asked Grayson.
"Probably just going home, why?" He said rolling his eyes.
"Maybe you can pick me up after practice, and we can go out to eat or something" She said playing with his hand.

I'll admit I was a little angry.
But I couldn't show it...
So instead I got up and went to the bathroom.

That's the end of this chapter, I'm leaving you on a cliff hanger:) but I haven't been writing, and there is honestly no excuse but I think I'm gonna start again!
