|Emma's pov|

"Here we are, the end, and the beginning to all of our journey's. We gather here today with our beloved family and friends celebrating, well all of us. Congrats class of 2018, we made it!" I read my speech, throwing my hat at the end.

I slowly walk off the stage trying not to make contact with Grayson.

Obviously that didn't work.

I see Ethan walk up to me with a gloomy Grayson near him. "Good job Emma" he said giving me a hug.

I smiled at him and thanked him and then gray gave me a disgusted look. As Ethan walked away I grabbed Grayson's wrist before he could.

I pulled him towards the bleachers and gave him a confused look. "What's your problem with me? You were the one who did me wrong!" I screamed.

He pulls a letter out of his pocket.
"What is that?" I asked still mad.

"A letter from Feather River" he looked at me in disgust again. "You were gonna leave me and go all the way to la?" He asked.

"My life is my life gray, what does the letter say?" I asked taking it from him.

"I got in? I got in!" I said jumping up and down and then I hugged him. I didn't mean to it was just an instinct. He stood there still angry. "Congrats" He said with a voice crack.

"Gray you can't possibly be mad at me! I want a good education, and this school has what I need!" I said looking at him.

"There's a thousand schools that have what you need, and you had to pick the one 3,000 miles away from me?" He asked screaming in my face.

"Yes, I did, because I can't stand watching you every day. I crave you and I'm not supposed to crave you. Gray don't you get it? I can't stay in the same state as you because I can't stand seeing you in the grocery store, or in a parking lot! I love you gray, but I'm not supposed to." I exclaimed.

"I'm leaving in the morning," I said looking down at my feet.

"So this is it?" He asked.

"Maybe for now, while we're step siblings, but not forever."
