|Chp 14| Dinner

| Emma's pov|

We were finishing up cheer tryouts when a car pulled up, I recognized that car, it was Graysons.

"Okay guys thats it for today! Tomorrow there will be a sheet in the inventory hall stating all the names that made it on the squad!" Bitc- Becca explained.

Grayson comes up to all of the girls as we were grabbing our stuff.

"Awe, Grayson you came" Becca said. I rolled my eyes and picked up my gym bag.
"Yea, but I'm going out with the team tonight so you wanna just go with me?"

Wow. He ACTUALLY had the nerve.
I start walking towards my car, and drive home.

I get into my room and change into a cute romper and straighten my hair.

If Grayson's gonna try to make me jealous, let's see how he likes a taste of his own medicine.

I get back into my car and drive to the restaurant where Brett said the event was happening.

"Emma! I'm so glad you could make it" Brett said greeting me. I threw him a big smile, "Me to".

We sit down at the table with a bunch of guys and some of the girls that I recognize off of the cheer team.

As I sit down I see Grayson walk in. "Hey? What are you doing here I thought you had to do something?" He said, in a question manner.

"Yea, well Brett convinced me to come" I said smiling. He rolled his eyes and took a seat next to Becca.

Dinner was over and we all headed out of the building. Grayson didn't talk to me at all and he seemed kinda annoyed.

"Yo Emma!" Brett came over to me. "Yes?" I said laughing. "Don't we have math together?" He asked.
I threw him a confused look, that was so random to say.

"Yea?" I asked. "You wanna come over to my house and study?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

" 'study' ? Brett do you really think she's that stupid?" Grayson came up behind me asking.

I looked at him and then back at Brett, "Yea let's go" I said smiling at Brett.

"What the hell Emma" Grayson looked at me.
I ignored him and continued walking out the door, with Brett by my side.

....

We arrive to his house and we go upstairs.
"My parents aren't home, so we're free to do whatever we want" He said smirking.

'Whatever we want'? What does that mean?

I nod my head and take out my textbook.
He laughs. "What?" I threw him a confused look.
"We're not actually gonna study" He said still laughing.

"So Grayson was right?" I asked.{ I don't know why but the font changed here so deal w it sis}

He continues laughing, "duh" I quickly get up and head for the door.

He grabs my waist, "whats so wrong about that?" He asked.
"What's so wrong? That's hella disrespectful. We barely even know each other dude" I said removing his hands from my waist.

"Alright what ever, never gonna listen to Grayson again" he said holding his hands up.

"What do you mean?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Okay don't take this the wrong way, but the day after I met you I asked Grayson if I could hit,and he told me probably because you're really easy,obviously not." He explained.

"How am I not supposed to take that the wrong way?" I asked.

I finally open his door and leave.
