Chapter 19; Hide & Seek

...(Y/N)'s POV...

I enter the house and walk away from Toby and Jack, I walk around the house mindlessly a few others were awake now. I turn a corner and hit someone head on, I fall on my ass. "Watch where your going!!" Some growled at me, I look up and see Jeff glaring at me.

"How about you, Fuck Face?" I say stand up glaring right back.

"You little—" he's cut off by his name being called by Slender, I stick my tongue out at him. "Your lucky, bitch..." he growls and walks away.

I continue down the hall when I see Sally, she smiles and runs up to me hugging my lower torso. "(Y/N)!! Nobody will play with me!!" She cries, I felt my heart breaking, I glared at Ben and Jane who were talking.

"Don't worry I'll play, everyone here are just meanies for not playing." I say to her, she smiles up at me whipping her tears.

"R-really!?" She smiled, softly and hugged me tighter.

"Of course!" I smile petting her head a little. "Come on, let's play outside."

She ran outside, giggling. I gave them one last glare for letting Sally cry, they look at me confused. I walk away and follow Sally outside, me and Sally started playing hide and seek. I hid first, we agreed to either being on the first floor of the house or two trees in the forest around the house.

I climbed a tree and sat a good 7 feet off the ground, I leaned against the truck hidden behind a wall of leaves. "Ready or not! Here I come!!" She cheered and started with outside, sadly.

Sally looked around and giggled running through the trees, Sally was like a little sister to me. I hated seeing her upset or sad, a saw something that surprised me. She started climbing the tree next to me, I look at the tree and realize it was a weak dying tree. She didn't weigh much at all, so I wasn't that scared. But I didn't like her climbing it.

I then hear a snapping, Sally screamed. Before I could comprehend what was happening or what I was going to do. My body apart from my mind jumps across to her tree and grabs her hand landing on a more steady branch. I pull her up realizing what I just did, I push my thoughts to the side and make sure Sally was okay. "SALLY! Are you okay!?" Her eyes were wide and she was she was still in shock, she gave a small nod.

I pull her into a hug, she breaks down still scared. "It's okay! Shh... shh..." I say petting her head softly.

I jump down with Sally holding my neck and my one hand cradling her making sure she doesn't slip. I let her down and we went inside, Sally no longer wanting to play.

...??? POV...

"God damnit! She still hasn't been seen yet!?" I yelled at the men, "of course we can't put her on the news, her family believes she's dead." I say sighing.

"Sir, if I may add, we could keep an eye on her old home. She will start to regain her memories now that she's off the medicine." My First Lieutenant said to me.

"The Major left me in charge and I refuse to disappoint him again. I suppose it won't hurt to station a few men to keep a look out." I said giving permission to do it.

"Yes, sir!" The Lieutenant said leaving the room, I sit at my desk and think of things to do.
