Second Family [Creepypasta x Reader]

Chapter 4: Song Bird, a deadly force of Nature.

 So now I'm in this mansion and Jeffery calmed down and Ben kept interrogating me while we walked to the 'Operators' office. If they weren't here I'd be lost, there are so many doors to this place. I answered another one of Bens questions. 

 "Are you single?", yep. He just asked me if I was single. "Ben!", the boys whisper shouted at him causing him to laugh. "Yes, Ben, I'm single." All the boys looked at me like I just said the worst thing possible. "What?", I turned around on my heels, they all stopped walking a while ago. Jackie, Jeff, and Toby were giving Ben the death glare. Oh, if only looks could kill. But, I mean, technically Bens a ghost so... "Wanna go on a date?"

 I gave him the innocent eyes and pouty lip,"Sorry Ben, but I think we'd need to know each other better. You just asked out a complete and utter stranger for goodness sake!", you said as dramatically as you could. Ben just rolled his eyes while the others clapped and laughed. "THAT'S why we're friends!", Jackie laughed. "I thought it was because I had a knife?", I said like it was fact causing us to laugh more. We turned the corner and I hit something. Nope. Someone.

NOTE: I had this in the stories description, but if you didn't read it then- I know Masky and Hoodie are from the Marble Hornets series on YouTube, but hey- we need our proxies up in here!

 That 'someone' was a guy wearing a very feminine mask, and had really nice chocolate brown hair. You were getting used to seeing random people and their reactions. You looked them in the eyes- or at least where they would be- and said,"Hi." He looked up to see the guys behind me, what a squad, and back at me. "Hey... who are you, what are you doing here, and why are they with you.", he looked skeptical when I said I was here because these people are my new friends. "And that's why I'm here. So, uh, who are you?" 

 Jeff answered for him. "Well, this little bundle of joy here is Masky.", he sounded like he's said that alot. "I told you not to call me that Jefferey.", Masky shot back. Masky then got up and held his hand out for me, of coarse being polite I grabbed his hand. Masky went his own way while we came up to the 'Operators' office. "J-just be yours-self and don't let him-m get y-ou down.", Toby said. Ben knocked on the door... somehow, ghost physics were not taught at school. No one answered, then Ben opened the door. I peeked in and saw something truely amazing that made my eyes light up.

 A tall man in a suit and tie reading a harem manga! No, i saw this tall man in a suit and tie... and he spoke to me. The cool thing was- no face, no mouth!

 He looked at me and then the boys then back at me. He sighed and deeply inhaled? "Which of you brought her in?", he said with such utter disappointment. I spoke up,"Um, I d-don't think... I don't think you need to know.", I said the second time around more clearly. He looked at me like I murdered the most holy-pure-cinnamon-roll-of-a-bean that's ever exsisted. The boys, even though I couldn't see them, I felt their smirks and shocked faces. The tall guy stood up and he was as tall as a fucking tree. Like, no-he was a tree.

 He walked over to me- looked my dead in the eyes and said,"Do you know who i am?", he freaking said to my face- "Do you know who I am?". Idea. "No, but to me I'd say you were birch.", he looked at me puzzled. "What?", bingo. "Birch, you look like a birch to me, sir." I got my reaction- all I had to do was give them something. Jackie and Ben started laughing, Toby started stuttering more, and Jeffy- Jeffy stared at me like I commited a major sin.

And me, I had a smug smirk plastered all over my face. That's when Mr. Birch started 'talking',"I see," if I heard him correctly- by the way he was 'breathing'- he was stifling a laugh,"are you able to use a weapon?" Everyone went quiet as I listed off my skills. "My father went hunting often so I know how to shoot 13 types of guns, a cross bow, a classic bow, and different types of knifes. I'm also pretty good at defending myself." He seemed pleased. "Child, what's your name?", he asked calmly. "My name is Song Bird, a deadly force of nature."
