Raising Nora (2)

  ( I really love a westallen family )

     Nora sped around the loft, gigling while she ran from Barry, who was trying to cloth her. Iris watched, holding her camera up to her.

    "It's so hard having a speedster baby" Barry said after he finally caught her.
    "You knew she was going to be a speedster when you met her" Iris chuckled. Nora grabbed at Iris' fingers, gigling at how weird she thought they were. Barry finally got her dressed. He set her down in a special play pen that Cisco made so she couldn't faze through it.

   Nora kicked at the walls on the pen. She started to cry. Iris picked her up quickly.
    "I told Cisco to make it bigger" she mumbled to herself.
     "He did his best Iris." Barry said walking over to her.
     "I know.. I appreciate it alot, but it's hard to use if she cries every time she's in it" Iris said. She sat down on the couch with Nora on her lap. Barry sat in front of them on the floor. He played with Nora's small feet, making her giggle. She kicked her feet happily at her father.

    "Barry will you hold her for a bit? I have to get her baby food" Iris said handing Nora to Barry. Barry took Nora into his arms, he hugged her tightly.
    "Dada!" Nora said. Barry nearly screamed when he heard Nora say his name.
    "IRIS! SHE SAID IT! SHE SAID IT! SHE SAID DAD!" Barry said speeding around the room with Nora.
     "No she didn't! Let me see!" Barry stopped in front of Iris. He looked over to Nora who was sucking on her finger.
    "Say it Nora. Say Dada" he said, bouncing her slightly.
    "Dada!" She said, sticking her hands up and giggling. Iris' eyes were tearing up. Nora grabbed her finger.
    "Mama?" Nora said. Iris' eyes lit up.
    "That's right. I'm mama!" Iris said, kissing her daughter on the forhead. Nora giggled.
    "Let's take her to star labs? Show Catlin and Cisco hernew skill" Barry said.
    "Kisco?" Nora tried to say, Iris laughed and nodded.
    "I'll get the stroller." Iris said, kissing her husband's cheek as she walked by.

    When Barry, Iris, and Nora got to star labs Catlin picked up Nora quickly.
    "How's my little speedster?" She said, tickling Nora's stomach.
    "Kitty!" Nora said.
    "Woah! When did you start talking?" Catlin asked Barry and Iris.
   "This morning. Her first word was dad" Barry said, proud of himself.
    "Kitty?" Nora said, pointing at Catlin
    "Close enough" Catlin said.
    "Cisco you should have heard her try and say your name." Iris laughed. Cisco quickly took Nora from Catlin.
     "Can you say Cisco? Say Cisco!" Cisco said.
     "Kisco!" Nora said, gigling slightly when Cisco tickled Nora's stomach.
     "We can work on it." Cisco laughed, handing Nora back to Barry. Iris went off to talk to Cisco about the play pen. Catlin and Barry sat, watching Nora run around.
    "I knew she was fast, but I didn't think she'd be fast this young." Catlin said, laughing when Nora went to climb up her leg.
     "Yeah. It's really fun sometimes. Other times it's a pain in my-" Barry was cut off by Cisco.
     "I can't make it bigger or it won't work!" Cisco said walking into the room with Nora.
