An Unlikely Saving

Character POV

You awake on something nice and soft. As you try to get up a searing pain hits you square on the forehead. "Uuuuugggghhhh...." You mumbled. When your senses come back you turn to your left to see Janitor laying in the floor snoring softly. "heh, stop snoring like a pig you shortie" you said as you sat up. He growled in response to the nickname and sits up without his brown hat (specifically the fedora ) ((No Lauren, hes not a scrub lord lmao)) "What did you call me you 6 armed/Legged freak?" You looked at him with surprise. You didn't expect him to ever say that to you. 'Must be a grouchy a** when he wakes up in the mornings.' you thought. "C'mon, lets get you to the boss..." he grumbled.

Time skip towards the end of the stairs.

Janitor was holding you in his arms, carrying you up the stairs since you couldnt stand without almost crying. You opened the door as he walked in. "Hmm? Something happen?" a familiar voice said. You turned to see your boss, The Lady, staring at you with concern in her eyes. "Y/N here hit her head on a pipe running around. You think you can heal her boss?" "Yes, but at a cost. Its not easy because it requires a lot of strength to cast the healing spell. If you could lend me some of yours then it should be enough." "Fine, but only cause I could use her help around here."

A bright light blinded you for a few seconds and soon it vanished. You saw The Lady kneeling and breathing heavily and the same with Janitor. (your on the ground btw) You stood up and watched as the lady let out a sigh and stood up. Janitor, however, fell asleep out of exhaustion. "Take him with you and Y/N?" "Yes ma'am?" "I can tell he enjoys your company and you enjoy his" She said as she winked at you. Your face turned a little red but you ignored it.

Timeskip to Chef 1 and 2's kitchen

"Heeeyyy aren't you that girl we saw earlier when we barged in to the boss' office?" Said 1 of the chefs. "Yeah. My names Y/n. Whats yours?" you replied. "Well i'm Chef 2 and this is my brother, Chef 1." He said. "Hey Y/n, care to tell use why your holding Roger?" Chef 1 asked. 

After story time lol

"Well we'll leave you to take care of him." The twins said in unison. You went to the elevator while trying to keep Janitor's arms from getting left behind. As you climbed on some pipes over a sea of shoes, you felt eyes burning into you. You kept climbing until you reached the door way, where you turned around to see something swimming in the shoes. You couldn't tell what it was but you didn't want to know either.

Timeskip cause im a  lazy author

You set Janitor down on the bed and pulled a chair over and sat near him. 'Wait. Wheres his hat??? F*** I must of left it somewhere' You get up to leave, but a the sudden thought of him trying to find you while you were gone plopped into your head. 'Theres nothing more I can do besides right a note but its not like he can see it right?' You decide to leave anyway, not caring about the consequences.

Janitors POV

I was running. Running in darkness. I could hear screams behind me. One scream that was familiar to me was my mothers. I turn around as soon as I could, but was caught by a guard. "Put me down!" I yelled at them. I blacked out. Later, I looked around to see I had long arms. "Say goodbye to your eyes little one." 

I woke up quickly breathing hard. I never wanted to remember my past and how I'm the monster I am today. I lifted up the skin that covered my light blue eyes. It was hard to make out, but I was in my room by myself. 'Where'd the cute tall one go? And where is my hat? Hold on. I didn't just call her cute did I? Nah. Just forget it' I sat on the edge of my bed trying to remember what happened. As soon as I remembered, I heard footsteps coming towards my door. It then, swung open to reveal a h/c headed girl with long bangs almost covering her sparkling E/C eyes.

This chapters long I know but don't worry Ill publish more in a little while ;)
