Last Night

Chapter 11

The first game night at Lena's is interesting, to say the least. The combination of a cause to celebrate, an alien dog, alcohol, and Kara's friends makes for an exciting party. After a few rounds of someone's game of choice, Winn breaks out the alien alcohol, because, "it's not a celebration unless you can get drunk, Kara,"
Drunk Kara turns out to be an experience Lena was unprepared for.
Drunk Kara will not stop flirting with Lena, and can't control her laughter*
"Lee, your the prettiest girl in the world," Kara, who has not let go of Lena for the past hour, stage whispers into her ear.
"Yes Kara, you've been telling me that all night," Lena chuckles.
"S'it's true." She slurs.
"Okay, lets go sit down," Lena says gently, Kara looks like she's could pass out at any moment.
"I love, love, love you." Kara says once they're seated.
"And I love, love, love you, babe," Lena kisses her hair, "how have I never seen you drunk before?" Lena says, shaking her head with a laugh.
"It takes A LOT to get me drunk," Kara says, the most serious she's been all night, "you know, cause of the 'fast metabolism'" she says using air quotes.
"Kara literally everyone in this room knows you're an alien."
"SHHH! Not everyone!" Kara says pointing, not so discreetly, at the dog.
"Kara Krypto is an alien too." Lena sighs.
"Still! He could tell!"
"You're adorable, but I think this means the party's over for now,"
Kara's passed out on the couch by the time everyone goes home.
"C'mon Kyrpto, lets go for a walk," Lena calls to the dog, who rushes excitedly towards the door. Lena pauses in the doorway looking at Kara, the blanket she'd lain over her earlier is now halfway to the floor, and she's fallen asleep in a position that couldn't possibly be comfortable for any human. Lena can't help but smile at the sight of her before she closes the door.
