You first saw him when he walked into a local coffee shop you work at as a waitress. Since you and Seo-Yun were the only two on shift today, you had to take his order. When you walked up to his table, he looked up, his eyes locked with yours, and his gaze was so deep that you almost forgot to ask him what he would like to order.

"W-what would you like to order, sir?"
You asked him, stuttering like an idiot.

"I would like a mocha latte, please." he answered as he half-smiled at you.

"Sure thing, I'll be right back." You stated as you awkwardly left to make it for him. Ninety seconds later and his drink was finished.

He wouldn't take his eyes off of you, and that made you a little nervous, so when you set his coffee down in front of him, you nearly missed the table.

"Thanks." he smiled, gazing up at you.

"You're welcome." You replied, smiling back before walking away to wipe down tables to prepare for the next rush.

You could still feel his eyes on you... and at that moment, it took everything you had to not look back at him.

Seo-Yun was now calling for you from the back... something was very wrong because she had never done this before.

You turned around to go to her and met his gaze... gut feeling confirmed. Standing frozen, you stared back at him for a moment until Seo-Yun called your name a second time, and then you broke eye contact with him, hurrying to the back.

"Minah, I - I have to go... right now. I'm sorry..." she finally let out as tears streamed down her face. You asked her what had happened, but she just said she didn't have the time to explain.

"I need you to close up the shop early today after this customer leaves. I will have to call you later to discuss tomorrow. Bye Minah, be safe." Seo-Yun sniffled while gathering her things.

"Bye Seo-Yun, you be safe too, and call me when you can." You replied, waving to her.

Seo-Yun left. You were now all alone, with a perfectly handsome stranger.

You slowly walked back out to the front of the diner then stopped for a second, trying to collect your thoughts.

Your first decision was to turn the "OPEN" sign over to "CLOSED" to keep anyone else from coming in. When you turned around after doing that, he was sitting on his chair backward, looking at you with the most confused look you had ever seen on anyone.

As you sauntered towards him, you were trying to figure out how you would explain this to him.

"Uhmm, sir? My co-worker... well, you see... she needed to leave because of an emergency, so I have to close up early today. You are welcome to stay if you want to until I have everything done, and then I am sorry, but... you will have to leave." You quietly advised trying to sound as calm as possible.

"Well, since it's alright with you, I will stay until you are finished. A pretty girl like you can't be left alone in here, now can she?" He stated with that adorable half-smile plastered on his face.

"Okay then. Thank you, sir. It won't take long." You replied, hoping your face wasn't as red as it felt.

You walked away and started the closing routine... wiping down tables, setting chairs up on top of them, washing dishes, counting the register down. With him in here, it felt like doing all of that took an eternity... but in reality, it was only about thirty minutes.

"All finished." You told him with your back turned, gathering your things.

You turned around to find that he had his chair set up like the rest of them, and he was standing next to it, gazing at you. He wasn't adorably smiling this time... just a deep, soul-burning, sexy gaze. Those beautiful brown eyes were so captivating. You stood there, gazing back at him for a moment, trying to read him... his facial expression, his body language... as he was doing the same thing to you.
