You felt pretty shocked.
'Did he truly suggest going to his place instead? Does he have a plan, or is he honestly trying to help me somehow because I am such an emotional mess'? You asked yourself.
"...Your place? I'm sorry, Mr. Kim Taehyung, I don't want to sound rude, but hearing you say that took me by suprise. I mean, I don't even know you... can I trust you?" You replied, trying hard to be mannerly.
"First of all, Minah, no need to be so formal... please call me Taehyung. To answer your question... yes, you can trust me, I would never hurt you. Instead of walking so far to your place, I thought that you could rest up at mine for a while instead." He said in the sweetest, softest voice you had ever heard.
"Alright, Taehyung, I will trust you. Please, can we go? I am starting to get tired now." You complained, seriously hoping you could trust him.
You continued walking in the same direction you were before, except now you are walking with him... not the other way around. You honestly had no idea how long it took to walk to his place, but it seemed very short.
Taehyung stopped. "We're here." he declared, nodding towards a building in front of you.
You were astonished looking at it. Taehyung doesn't live in an apartment. Taehyung has a house.
He opened up the gate and stood there, staring at you.
"Ladies first." he urged with that adorable half-smile of his.
You walked through and on up to the door and waited. Taehyung was closing the gate. You moved aside when he walked up so he could unlock the door. After he opened it, he stood there, as he did at the gate... so you walked in first.
'Could he truly be so perfectly handsome and a gentleman too?' You thought to yourself.
The inside of his house was even more beautiful than it was outside. It wasn't super huge like a mansion, but pretty big.
To your left was the living room, to your right was a dining area, in front of that was the kitchen, and a hallway was off to the right that led to somewhere you couldn't see. Centered between the living room and kitchen were stairs, and right there was a bathroom. Further left of that was a bedroom, and on the opposite side of the bathroom, further down the hallway, was a second bedroom.
"Have a seat anywhere in here you feel comfortable, and I'll turn the tv on if you feel like watching it. I will go find us something to eat." He said, then walked off, heading into the kitchen.
You sat there on his couch, watching a K-Drama that was on. You weren't paying much attention to it, though, because you were very worried about how Seo-Yun and Ji-Woo were doing. The other thing was this adorable Taehyung guy, whom you still don't know at all, and have unintentionally just spent a whole afternoon with him.
'Find us something to eat'... that was what he told you, but he is in there cooking something... which smells fantastic, and honestly, after today, you were finally noticing how empty your stomach was.
"I hope you're hungry..." he says, walking into the living room with two plates of Japchae, placing them down on the coffee table.
"This... is amazing and delicious, Taehyung, thank you." You stated after taking a few bites.
You ate almost all of it, but while you were eating, Seo-Yun and Ji-Woo were still on your mind.
Questions started to develop in your head...
'How was Seo-Yun holding up? How serious is Ji-Woo's Leukemia? What is going to happen next? What happens to the shop if Seo-Yun can't return to it in a few days?'
