After losing the Interhigh, the Kaijou team were taking a break. Everyone was at their individual homes, spending time with their own family. 

At the Kasamatsu household, Kasamatsu was helping his mother to put out the laundries to dry. It was a nice summer day despite yesterday's loss. His mother comforted her son and she was proud of him no matter what. Kasamatsu smiled at his mother's words; his mother was kind and beautiful, a lovely woman. 

"Yukio, you've got a call! It's from your vice captain." His dad called out from the house. Kasamatsu wondered what Kobori wanted all of a sudden. He looked at his mother and she nodded with a smile.

"Hello? Kasamatsu?" Kobori asked on the phone.

>>Yeah?<<

"You have to come to the hospital quick! Airi-chan is awake! The coach got a call from Airi-chan's dad!" Kobori couldn't stop the happiness coming from his own voice. He was so happy that he had to show it.

On the other side of the phone, Kasamatsu silently gasped. Shoulders trembling, he put a hand over his mouth to muffle the cries of relief. He had been waiting for her, he had been waiting for this day to come and it finally came. Was that dream he had back in the locker room a wish come true?

>>Kasamatsu?<<

"Ah. I heard you. Can you relay this to the others? We're going to see her." He put the phone down and leaned against the wall. The tears continued to flow despite the happy feelings. "You're finally back... I've been waiting for you..."

Kise got the exact same message and he was so relieved. Airi was okay! She's finally awake! Kise ran out of the studio and flagged down the taxi. He told the driver to get to the hospital as fast as he could. However, before the car could drive off, the door was yanked open and a panting Moriyama got in.

"Senpai!"

"Hey... Did you hear from Kobori too?"

"Yeah... Airicchi is finally awake..." Kise then told the driver to get to the hospital.

"Yeah..."  Moriyama was smiling. "I knew she would come back for sure." 

"Moriyama-senpai... I'm so happy... I'm so glad Airicchi is awake..." Kise couldn't stop his own tears. 

"Moron! Why are you crying on such a happy occassion?!"

"But Moriyama-senpai is crying too!"

"I am! And I don't know why!" 

"Weirdos..." The taxi driver retorted.

"SENPAI!" 

Moriyama looked back and he can see Hayakawa running as fast as he could to catch up with their taxi. It seems like the whole team got the message about Airi's return and they all wanted to greet her.

"Driver, stop the car." Moriyama smiled.

Kobori was on the bus, making his way to the hospital. He looked at his watch, hoping he wouldn't be late. 

"Huh? Kasamatsu?" He can see Kasamatsu running.

Kasamastu was running his way to the hospital. He wanted to see her, he wanted to see her and hold her close to him.
