HOLA! :D You guys should all LOVE ME VERY much because I ignorned my mom's request to go to bed early and now I'm typing :) Anyways, I was really motivated to write because I met this worker guy while I was laser tagging and now we are talking and stuff :) So while I wait for him to call, I am writing this chapter to distract myself! :3 I hope you guys enjoy it, because I am writing it in Jason's point of view :) Now, you're all going to hate me for how this is ending, especially Skittlez_143! She commented on the chapter, "We'll Be Alright" that she wants Jason and Kayleigh to stay together! Hmm, we'll see >:) This chapter is dedicated to Skittlez_143 aswell! <333 Also, the updates will be coming A LITTLE slower, and not like, everyday. Maybe one a week? Idk, just depends on the number of reads I get :) The book is almost done! Only 3 or 4 chapters left :) They are already writen, so if I get a lot of reads, I will post them soon :) I started school and I still have to write the ending chapter of this book, and its hard to find time. I'm also trying to co-write with @loveandromance so I will try super hard to not let you guys wait too long :) [P.S. The song is "Nothing" by The Script! It inspired me to write this chapter, so please play it and know how I felt! :D I love The Script :3]

*Jason's Point Of View*

It's over. She ended it. Just 109 minutes ago. The girl I loved took my heart and smashed it to bits. She left me broken, wondering why she couldn't find it in her heart to make a fresh, new start. Instead she decided it was too much. The pressure was just too much to handle. And now I'm left to figure out how to pick up the pieces and put them back together. I sigh as I stare at my ceiling, hand behind my head. And slowly but surely, the tears flow soundlessly down my cheeks.

Before I know it, a week has passed and the nurses say I can be discharged from the hospital. My broken wrist and knuckles are healing, and my black eye and bruises are turning a slight yellow. They say that I'll have a scar on my neck for the rest of my life from the nasty cut Alex gave me. I ask if Kayleigh was still in the building, and the nurses shake their heads. I sigh and thank them, stepping out of the hospital gown and pulling on my normal clothes, gathering my stuff and walking out to catch a cab.

--------------------

I sigh contentally as I fall back onto the chair, my fourth bottle of beer in my hand. My old friends decided that they needed to cheer me up. Taylor suggested we go to a bar so I could drink my mind off, and for once, I agreed with him. I've consumed so much alcohol tonight that my memory began to fail me hours ago. Now it's one o'clock in the morning, and I'm drunk out of my mind. Gunnar begins laughing uncontrolably at something he thought was funny. He's just, if not more, as drunk as I am. They told me that I needed to get wasted to get her off of my mind. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but right now, my thoughts consist of nothing but her. So in my drunken state, I decide that maybe if she can just see how sorry and hurt I am, she'll give us a chance!

10 minutes later, I'm stumbling down the street and to her house. I know that if she can just really see my sorrow, she'll take me back for sure. I try and process what I will say to her. Should I beg and plead? Should I apologize? Should I make her feel bad for what she's done to me?

I don't have much time to think, because before I know it, I'm face to face with her best friend, Ryan, asking him to take me to her.

"Jason?" Ryan says as he pulls open the front door, shock and suprise covering his face.

"Ryaaaaan," I slur, leaning my arm on the door to keep my balance. "I-is sheeeee hereee?"

"You're drunk, man," Ryan scoffs, shaking his head. "No wonder you had the nerve to show up."

"Heyyy!" I say, taking a step into his house. "I wo-woul-ld've come baaack for her anywayssssss."

Ryan sighs and grabs me by the arm, towing me down the front hall and towards a room on the left. As soon as realization hits me, it seems to snap me out of my drunken trance.

"Oh God!" I whisper, my eyes wide with fear.

Ryan chuckles, realizing I now understand what I'm doing. "You'll be fine, man."

He pauses at the entrance of a pair of french doors. Peering inside.

"Kayleigh?" Ryan says, quietly. "Someone's here to see you."

Ryan pushes me forward and as soon as our eyes meet, fear is covering her face.

"J-Jason?" She stutters, starring at me. "What are you doing here?"

I gulp and take a deep breath before answering. "Kayleigh, I need you back."

She begins to protest before I cut in. "Let me explain!" I say.

She nods. "You have two minutes."

I sigh."Kayleigh, you ripped my heart right out of my chest. Don't you understand? I spent three days alone in the hospital. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't stop thinking about you. I had to go out and get wasted tonight to get you off of my mind, and it still didn't work! Kayleigh, I can't be without you! Please, please, look into your heart. Give me one last chance."

I watched her face as she processed this, memorized all the emotions that she showed. Hurt, anger, sadness, regret, then nothing. Her face turned into a hard mask of stone. I waited for her to say something, tell me she hated me and that she never wanted to see me again. But a small part of me was optimistic. It told me she would love me and accept me, giving me a second chance.

Kayleigh stood from the couch and took her crutches under her arms, hobbling out of the living room without a word, without even looking back.

"Sorry, man," Ryan mumbled, touching my shoulder and leading me to the front door. He mumbled his good-byes and gently shut the door, leaving me alone on the front stoop.

I wanted words and all I heard was nothin'...
