As we walked up the stairs, I realized this was bigger than MY house! What does Jason's family do for a living?!
"And this is the floor that mom and I stay on," Anna said as we reached the landing of the second floor. "This room, third door on the right, is mine."
Anna pushed open the door and I immediately saw pink. Tons and tons of pink. And black. Those must be her favorite colors. Her room was like the size of mine. It was spacious with a large queen-sized bed in the middle, covered in a pink and black zebra print comforter with matching throw pillows. The walls were a bright hot pink, and the windows were covered with zebra print curtains. The furniture was all black and I saw two white doors. One, I'm guessing, lead to her closet, and the other to her private bathroom.
I looked at her huge black dresser which was covered in pictures. But her mirror had to have at least 40 pictures taped to it. They consisted mostly of her and her friends. But a few were of her and Alex, or her and Jason. But one stood out impiticularly. It was her and a man about 30 years old maybe. He had Jason's golden brown hair, but the man had blue eyes, the color of Anna's. This had to be her father.
Anna finally caught me staring at this picture. She smiled when she saw it. "That's my dad. I haven't seen him in almost five years."
"But, isn't he.." I started, cutting off when I saw Jason's face. I remembered how she didn't know he was dead. She had told me when we first met that he was on a business trip.
"Isht he what?" She asked, suddenly suspicious. I came up with a quick answer.
"Isn't he Jason's dad to?" I asked. She nodded.
"He's all of ours."
I nodded and continued looking at the different pictures. I spotted one of Jason when he was little.
"Awww! Is that Jason?" I asked. Anna nodded, smiling. I glanced at Jason and he was texting, not looking happy. Hmm...
"Okay!" Anna announced. "On to the rest of the house!"
Anna showed me everything! From bathrooms to bedrooms. This house is absoloutley huge! When I asked to see the third floor, Anna smiled.
"Oh, I think Jason can show you that." She said.
She walked toward the stairs but stopped next to Jason. She whispered something in his ear, then they both looked at me, then she whispered again and smiled. Jason blushed as she skipped down the stairs.
"Shall we?" Jason asked, as we walked up the stairs. He grabbed my hand and showed me around.
Firs he showed me the computer room. Then all the bathrooms. Next he showed me this huge guest bedroom with a king-sized bed and a walk in closet. This room even had it's own bathroom! I was guessing this was my room because all of my suitcases were at the foot of the bed. This room had lavender walls with a white bed frame and a dark purple comforter with lighter purple and white flowers. My favorite colors.
Jason then walked me to a door that was two down from mine. He paused with his hand on the doorknob. Then turned to face me as he spoke.
"This," He said. "Is my room."
