The room was dark. She threw the yellow whip towards the man behind her and then worshipped quickly and shot a yellow arrow towards another man.

Then the lights switched on and someone clapped.

,, Well done, Emily." Doctor Strange stood on the door and was proud of his student. ,, Who taught you to fight like this?"

,, Stop." Emily said and smiled. ,, I'm not so perfect at all. Whip throws aren't so sharp as yours."

,, Don't worry. You'll learn. You're only nineteen."

Emily had been five years old when the doctor had found her. Now she was nineteen. Fourteen years had passed incredibly quickly. Emily had learned how to fight like Doctor Strange. And she didn't went to school too, that was one thing she was happy about. Stephen taught the exact same things to her what he had been taught. Every small spell he knew. Even the darkest ones. Emily had practiced her fighting and enchanting in the exact same room she first saw Stephen doing his magic. And it was going very well. Emily didn't have a cool costume and she wasn't a hero like Strange but she believed that everything comes in the right time. But she was inpatient about her fighting skills. She wanted to do everything perfectly right away. The doctor had taught her that she has to be patient but that wasn't one of her strongest sides. Why did Stephen taught her all that? That was one of many questions he often asked himself. Well, he knew that there wouldn't be any point of hiding that after the discovery and why not? She was doing great and he believed that she won't use the powers for bad things.

,, But-" Emily started.

,, No buts. Let's go and eat something." Strange said.

Emily laughed and they walked upstairs.

,,Happy Birthday to you!" Emily heard through sleeping. ,, Happy Birthday to you!" She heard some noises and decided to wake up.

,, Happy Birthday dear Emily! Happy Birthday to you!"

,, Mister Strange?" Emily muttered. She was still sleepy and didn't understand what was happening. ,, Why are you singing?"

,, It's your birthday, Emily! Wake up!" Stephen said, switched on the light and sat down on the edge of the bed. He had finally built a bedroom for Emily to her 10th birthday and the girl was still so happy about it. He didn't use any magic to build it, only his hands. And a little bit of help from Emily.

,, How old am I now?" Emily said and sat up. She understood what was going on but was still a little bit sleepy.

,, Twenty. Nice number if you ask from me."

Emily rolled her eyes and the doctor gave her a tiny present wrapped in the yellow paper.

,, Open it up." He said with a smile on his face.

Emily smiled and started to open it carefully. What was in there?

There were one chocolate, Emilys favorite, what was actually very expensive and hard to get and one green phone case. Emily smiled. Green was her favorite colour.

,, This one too." The doctor said and gave her another present what was bigger but not much. It was wrapped in the green paper. Emily smiled again.

,, You picked the right colours." She said.

,, Well, I wanted this birthday to remind you of yourself. The real you."
