Chapter 15: Preparations

Dylan's POV: 

Habang kausap si Evan ay nakita namin si Anastasia na lumabas mula sa Royal room ni King. 

"Hey! Anong ginawa niya dun?" tanong sa akin ni Evan. 

"Tss. I don't know", sagot ko habang tinitingnan ang iritablenb pag-walk out ni Anastasia.

"If I'm not mistaken, ay nasa loob ng Royal room ang Queen." biglang sulpot ni Thomas. 

"Dude! Wag ka ngang susulpot na lang ng basta-basta dyan!" inis na sabi ni Evan na halatang nagulat. 

Biglang lumapit sa amin si Herbert at itinuro nito si Anastasia na nakaupo lang doon. 

"What's with Tasia? Mukhang badtrip ang tactician natin ah!" sabi nito. 

"Hmm, galing kasi siya sa Royal room kung nasaan ang Queen." Evan said. 

"I wondered what happened there?" tanong ko. 

"Anastasia seems to be irritated at Queen Charlotte. We all know kung ano ang ugali niya kaya I'm sure na nakipagtalo siya sa Queen." sabi ni Thomas na ikinagulat namin. 

"Wait! Tasia will do that?! She must be insane! Kinakalaban niya ang Mafia Queen!" bulalas ni Evan kaya napailing na lang ako. 

Kahit kailan ay hindi marunong magtimpi si Tasia. She's been acting recklessly. What an idiot! 

"But what if kung magsumbong si Queen kay King Zachary?" tanong ni Herbert. 

"She will not do that. Queen might have a sharp tongue but she's not the type na magsusumbong. I can see it on her." Thomas said. 

"Well, may tiwala naman kami sa hypothesis mo, bro!" natatawang sabi ni Herbert sabay tapik sa balikat ni Thomas. 

"But you know what? I sense something strange with our Queen." biglang saad ni Thomas na ikinalingon namin sa kanya. 

"What do you mean?" I asked him. 

"She seems to be a short-tempered girl with a sharp tongue but her eyes are so mysterious for me. Not a typical look I've seen in my whole life", seryoso nitong saad. 

"Napaka observant mo naman, dude! So you have been looking at Queen's eyes before?" tanong ni Evan. 

"No, I don't like looking at someone's eyes but it really caught me. I don't understand." wika nito sabay pa ang pag-iling. 

"There are people who have those mysterious eyes. Well, maaaring napansin mo yun pero wala namang kakaiba kay Queen." sabi ko at muling tiningnan ang nakatalikod at nakaupong si Tasia. 

"That girl! Siya ang kailangan nating bantayan kundi malalagot tayo kay King. Hindi pwedeng hayaan lang natin siya na ganunin ang Queen", I said and they all agreed. 

Zachary's POV: 

Pagkatapos kong ipaayos ang magiging training area namin, sinundo ko na si Charlotte sa kwarto. 

"Everything is well-prepared now. Can you go with me?" I asked her and she immediately followed me. 

Nandito na kami sa training area at ipinakita ko sa kanya ang mga baril na pwede niyang pamilian. 

Nang makapili na siya ay itinuro ko sa kanya ang mga target na papatamaan niya. They are just a human-sized dummies. 

She start concentrating and I saw her hands shaking. 

"Are you nervous?" I asked her. 

She again look at the dummies and tried concentrating but still her hands keep on shaking. 

I took the gun in her hands. 

"Don't be nervous,okay?" I said and held her hands. 

She focused her eyes on the target and shoot it. 

She missed the first shot but she keep herself shooting until she gets it.

I just looked at her while focusing on her targets. She starts shooting the dummies' heads and I'm surprised to see that she did that perfectly. 

"Woah!! You're a fast learner!" I said and she just smiled at me. 

"Hmmm.. Not really, maybe that was just a luck", she said and continued shooting.
