"You really are heartless aren't you? You threw me off the bridge and you don't even remember."
"I do..." the father replied as the last word led to silence.

There was a long pause as awkwardness filled the atmosphere. Minghao leaned against the side of the bridge and slid down onto the ground. "You brought me here today to get rid of me again, right?"
"No, that's-"
"I'm better than before, am I still not good enough? Does mama even know what you did twenty-two years ago?"
"No."

Minghao stood up and was going to walk past his father and back home, but he halted when he reached him.
"You know what I wished for on my third birthday?" he asked without making eye contact with his father.
"What?"
"That we'll always love each other and stay by each other's side," he paused for a minute, "I want to take that back, I don't love you. I don't have a father like you."

The father was left dumbfounded, how could this be possible? It's impossible. It didn't make sense.
