"el, it's 11:11, make a wish!" you said excitedly, cuddling elliot even tighter. lying next to him in bed, snuggling your face into his chest, it's how you guys end every single day, and 11:11 wishes are a daily ritual.

"(Y/N), you're so adorable." Elliot says, silently making a wish.

'i hope (Y/N) and i stay together forever, until the end of time.'

Elliot wished.

"what did you wish for? what did you wish for?" You exclaim, starring into Elliot's eyes.

"if i tell you, it might not come true!"Elliot says.

"pleassseee, i bet that it will happen anyway."

"i wished that you and me will stay together-" elliot got cut off.

You slap your hand over his mouth quickly.

"don't say it!"

"you're the one who told me to tell you!"

"i know but what if it doesn't come true?"

Elliot rolls his eyes before shutting them, snuggling closer to your body.

"Elliot?"

"yeah?"

"what did you used to wish for? you know before me..."

Elliot let his mind wander back to a time he met (Y/N), before it changed his life for the better. after dating (Y/N) for a couple months now (secretly), it feels like a lifetime.

"i think... i wished for a puppy once." Elliot says looking up at you. He nods slowly and looks at (Y/N) with an amused face. "what did you wish for, baby?"

Your face turns a bright shade of pink before you shake your head. "nothing much, i guess..."

"tell me!"

"i...i once wished for a snowboard and another time... i just wanted someone who loves me and accepts me for who i am."

"so did any of those wishes come true ?"Elliot asks jokingly.

"not all of them... but the second one did." you say kissing Elliot's cheek. "i love you, El."

"i love you too, babe." Elliot says back. Elliot glances at the clock and sees that it is 11:30. "it's late, we have to wake
up early tomorrow, babe. it's gonna be a long day. we should get some sleep."

You nod and turn off the lamp next to you as Elliot did the same. in the dark, Elliot moves closer to your body, closing any gap there was before.

"you know where my favorite place in the entire world is?" you ask.

"where?" El questions.

"right here, next to you."

You felt Elliot's grin emanating warm waves even in the pitch dark.

"i looooooooovvveeee you so much, El."

"and i looooooooooovvveeee you so much, baby."
