Lance's POV

Football practice, along with cheerleading practice, had just ended so Lance (as always) headed over to the girls, and (now) boy. Along with Shiro, because the huge man wanted to talk to his girlf- Allura... No, he meant girlfriend.

"Allura!" Shiro greeted. Allura blushed, whispered something to Shay, and greeted him back.

"Hey Shiro! Hi, Lance."

"Ladies." Lance flirted in greeting with a wink.

"And," Allura said, "A gentleman." She dragged the boy from before, Keith. Keith looked very reluctant and was glaring at Allura for dragging him in front of her to meet Lance. He looked very flustered and Lance made a note to himself to break Keith out of his shell.

"Ah, of course." Lance smirked, taking Keith small hand in his own relatively big one. "Nice to meet you, Keith." Lance kissed Keith's hand. "The name's Lance." Lance's lips were still hovering over Keith's hand, and Lance could only imagine how Keith had reacted this entire time.

Keith's POV

"Ah, of course." The tall man smirked. He had caramel-like skin, (milk)chocolate brown hair, and eyes like the ocean. But the ocean on a stormy day, which intrigued Keith.

The football player took Keith's hand in his own. It made Keith feel small, and vulnerable. "Nice to meet you, Keith." Keith's face turned beet red and he felt as if he were a volcano about to erupt as the mystery boy gently kissed Keith's hand. Keith gawked at the tall person. He was still blushing, hard at that, and covered his face with one of his hands, the other being currently kissed by him, making his lips jealous. Um- he meant... But his lips left Keith's hand and waited a little above his hand.

"The name's Lance." His words, for some reason and some how, made Keith blush slightly. Keith didn't particularly enjoy being flustered, so what he did next, he wasn't thinking, okay?

Lance's POV

Lance froze. Keith had just slapped him, hard enough that he was sure that there was a hand mark. "Oh- um, sorry." Keith murmured in surprise.

"I- uh," Lance stuttered. He hadn't expected Keith to be so strong... and pre-, "Ahem, ah yeah, it's fine. I'm a bit of a FFF." Keith tilted his head like a confused puppy, which was adorable by the way. "Forward, Fake Flirt." He clarified. Keith just slightly nodded in acknowledgement. The cheerleaders with snickering, along with Shiro and Hunk, who just came by to see his girlfriend of many years, Shay.

"So, Lance..." Nyma trails, "Whatcha do during practice today?" Lance looks directly at her, hoping it would seem Keith was just a small thing. But during his excessive flirting with Nyma, his mind is still on the new cheerleader.

"Oh, you know." Lance insinuates, "The normal, macho stuff." He tells the blondie with a wink. Out of the corner of his eye, Lance swears he could see Keith huff. Then, Keith silently makes his way to the locker room. And well... he doesn't know why, but Lance can't resist the urge to follow him. It seemed no one noticed and so Lance quietly excused himself.

"You promised..." Allura whispered, grabbing Lance by the arm. Lance looks at her, but then looks down.

"Lura'..." He starts in a startling serious tone. It causes the cheer-captain to freeze, but then smile.

"Go get em', tiger." She says quietly, patting Lance's shoulder in acknowledgement to leave. Lance hopes Allura can tell that he really wants to know Keith. Be it as a friend or more. And no, it wasn't just because Keith was the hottest person Lance had ever laid eyes on.

Keith's POV

Keith huffed as Lance quickly turned his attention onto one of he pretty blonde cheerleader whom he was pretty sure was named Nyma. Ugh, heteros. He knew it was a stereotype, but Lance just proved that all (to Keith's experience) straight men liked were boobs and butts. "Tch." Keith murmured. Shiro sent a glance towards his younger brother with a knowing, slight smile.

"Hey..." Shiro whispered into the younger's ear, "This is normal-Lance, okay? And he's bi, so he's not a 'hetero', Keith." Keith shivered and pushed Shiro face away from him.

"Shut up, Shiro."

"Just-" Keith cut Shiro off by storming away and entering the locker room.

Keith threw his bag to the floor with a grimace and stomped his way down to it. The raven-haired boy opened up his bag and began to unzip the tight top of his uniform.

"Keith?" A familiar voice questioned. Keith immediate dropped the zipper and whipped around to see Lance, breathless at the door. His face was also tinted with a light red. "I, uh-"

"What do you want?" Keith growled , cutting him off. To his surprise the tan boy did not reply.

Lance's POV

"What? Cat got your tongue?" The short boy retorted again, turning around once more to face Lance. Lance gulped as he stared at him. Keith might be the most special person Lance had encountered. And he promised Allura...

Keith laughed in an aggressive tone, "Cmon, talk." Keith stepped forward. "What do you want?" He questioned lowly in a slow-manner.

"Right now? Probably to kiss you." Lance blurted, turning redder at the realization. Keith was also blushing, but he wore a pout.

"You are such a... Whatever." Lance stared at Keith as the male cheerleader grumpily stomped out of the room.

"Talk about I hate to see you leave but love to watch you walk away..." He whispered to himself.

-

"Lance... No."

"You don't understand Hunk!" Lance whined in misery. He had just finished explaining his experience with the new cheerleader. "He's- he's different..." Hunk rolled his eyes and the 'sent!' sound that every iPhone makes ringed. "Hunk?" Lance questioned.

Hunk shrugged, "I'm texting this girl I met. She's cool and honestly; a lot less repetitive than you." Lance glared at his friend.

"Rude!" He barked with slight amusement, "You better not be cheating on Shay..." Hunk shook his head profusely.

"NONONONONONONONO!" He squeaked, "She's just a friend; I swear!" Hunk calmed down and added with a slick smirk, "Unlike this Keith guy... You're so in love with him, it's crazy."

Lance's cheeks tinted pink for what seemed to be the hundredth time today. "Love? No. Even saying crush is pushing it..." Lance murmured. But Hunk didn't believe him and frankly... Lance didn't believe himself. Lance McClain: the lover of fairytales, true love, and happy endings. He believe in all that jazz. Love at first sight, true love, soulmates, etc.

Keith's POV

"He's hot. He's hot and he's cute and he's funny and he's charismatic and he's perfect and I fucking hate him." Shiro laughed at that, causing Keith to glare at him.

"You glare too much, Keith." Shirt stated, earning yet another glare. "You know," Shiro continued, "You listed all good features about him. You called him hot, cute... If I didn't know any better; I'd think somebody has a crush~"

Keith stared at his older brother - Shiro now doing his homework - and contemplated what he had said. Lance? Crush?

....

Never.
