Chapter 18

It was Saturday.

Aprils birthday.

The day her girlfriend would meet the rest of her family.

The day she probably wants to sink into the ground after because of embarrassment.

Addison and her drove three hours till they finally arrived at the lake where their house stood. The car drive wasnt that bad, April and her girlfriend kept each other in a very good mood actually.

They parked in front of the rather big old wooden house. "Dont froget if you want to get out of here, give me a sign." April looked at her girlfriend who cupped her cheeks and kissed her.

"It will be okay, don't worry." Addison smiled and got out of the car.

They walked to the door hand in hand, with their bags.

"APRILS HERE!" Libby, one of her sisters yelled, lurking out of the door.

"Here we go." April mumbled, following her sister inside who hugged her tight before she did the same to Addison.

"Hi! Its so nice to meet you!" Libby looked her up and down excited. "You really are hot!"

"I told you!" Her mother came in to greet them.

"Duh." April snorted, earning a smirk from Addison. She took both their bags to put them aside so they could greet her family properly.

Her father was the next one to come up, pulling his youngest daughter in a warm hug. "Happy birthday, little one."

"Thank you." April hugged him back before she searched for her other sisters. "Where are Alice and Kimmie?"

"They are decorating the garden for the party." Libby wrapped an arm around her sisters shoulder.

"The party?" April asked carefuly.

Her mom turned back to her. "Of course! We decided to let you young people all party tonight and have the house to yourselves."

The young doctor arched a brow. "You let us party here?"

Her parents both nodded.

"Wow, that never happened before." April whispered to her girlfriend.

"I trust you and Addison to be old enough and influence your sisters so much, they wont have any stupid ideas."

"Im the youngest, do you remember?"

Her mother rolled her eyes. "You have Libby to help you too."

"Word!" Her sister took her and Addisons hand to lead them into the garden. "Finally we can party again!" Libby grinned at Addison. "Youre about to have the best party of your life!"

"I can't wait." The older woman was all up for it.

"APRIIIIILLLL!!" Alice yelled and let go of the ladder, she was holding for Kimmie, to jump at her sister.

"Hey!" April hugged her tight.

"Don't kill Kim before the party started." Libby took the place, holding the ladder.

"Whats up little sis?" Kimmie leaned down to fistbump her sister. "Is that your golden pearl?" She gestured at Addison.

April immediately grinned and nodded. "Thats Addison." She wrapped her arm around her. "Thats Satan number one and Satan number two." She joked as she introduced her sisters.

"HEYY!" They yelled in unison.

"I had that nickname too once in the hospital." Addison made them both chuckle.

Alice strolled closer to them, staring. "Man, Mom and Dad werent lying. You're really beautiful." She complimented Addison and winked at her sister.

The doctor leaned over amused. "I like it here."

"Oh shush." April giggled and kissed her.

"We got a lot of alcohol for tonight." Kim climbed down and showed them the table with all sorts of liquor.

"We can use the whole property around. Our neighbours are like hundred miles away and Dad put lights all over the place so we wont get lost in case we want to swim." Alice took a bottle of vodka. "Cocktails anyone?"

Addison nodded. "Always."

April agreed with her. It was her birthday after all why wouldn't she start drinking at 5pm?

"The whole estate is yours?" Addison arched a brow, looking around.

"Kinda." Her girlfriend shrugged but Libby interrupted her.

"It is. Our parents own a big farm not far away."

"You never told me you are rich." Addison mocked her.

"Im not. My parents are." April took the two cocktails from her sister, handing Addison one.

"What I don't understand is..." The redhead looked through the alcohol. "Thats a lot of beer and vodka..do you guys wanna poison me or...?"

All of her sisters including Addison started to grin.

April looked at them busted. "Okay that's scary. Am I gonna die?"

"Not today!" Kim joked.

"We just thought, why not get a bit of support for our little sister?" Alice grin widened.

April got even more confused by their words. She arched her brows questioning. "What is going on here?"

"Did anyone say alcohol!?" Came a familiar voice from inside the house.

"No you didn't." April shook her head, not believing what was going on.

"Yes she did!" Arizona peeked out from inside the house, smiling bright.

"ARIZONA!!!" Aprils jaw dropped and she quickly ran up to her friend to wrap her arms around her.

Callie was close behind her, wishing her a happy birthday before she joined Addison and her sisters.

"How did you- Why are you-" The girl huffed, unable to form a sentence.

"Your girlfriend invited me." Arizona explained simply.

April turned around, meeting her womans eyes and mouthing 'i love you' at her.

It wouldn't be this bad after all now.
