"Hey! Why didn't you answer me last night?" Arizona came from behind and hopped on the counter beside the coffee machine, which seemed to frustrate her friend.

April gave her a brief glance. "I was busy." She simply stated, not wanting to lie to her. "Why?"

"I had a small crisis because of Callie." The blonde stared at her. She noticed something was off. "But you seem to have a bigger one?"

It was true. Her friend was always good at looking right through her. Tho April really didnt feel like telling her because she didnt know how, or what Arizona would think about it.

"Im good." The young woman pressed a few buttons on the machine, trying to make it work.

"April. Youre a very bad liar." Her friend simply stated.

They shared a moment of silence.

"Okay, you dont wanna tell me. Its fine."

April hit the coffee machine because of her words.

"Alright wow, calm down." Arizona took her hands. "You don't need to talk but, let me be here for you."

"Im sorry." The young doctor looked at her, sighing. "I was with someone last night..and it went really well, I guess?"

"Thats not how anyone sounds when a date went well."

"It wasn't a date!...I think?"

Arizona furrowed her brows. "What was it then?"

"Well we...I stayed the night. And it was good but then when I woke up, it wasnt anymore kinda?"

Her friend started to get very confused by her words. "April, did you have a one night stand?"

"No!" Kepner seemed sure for a moment but then her face fell. "At least I dont think so." Truth was, she hoped it wasnt just a one night stand.

"Are you seeing him again?"

April didnt want to correct her friend at first, afraid of what she might think of her. On the other hand, it was Arizona, she would trust her with her life if it came down to it. "He is a she."

Arizona started to grin wide. "April Kepner!" She pulled her friend into a tight hug. "If you like her keep fighting and if she hurts you; I watch CSI."

April wrapped her arms around her friend, feeling kinda relieved. "Thank you." They chuckled but their moment was interrupted by someone.

"Sorry, do you two want to be alone?" Addison cleared her throat, watching them. She had no intention to leave, no matter if she was destroying their moment.

The blonde was dangerously close to April and Addison wouldn't have that.

"Uh, no we were just-..uhm." The girl took a step back from Arizona, getting nervous.

Addison walked towards them slowly, watching closely. She was waiting for April to give her a good reason for why on earth they were hugging each other.

"Girls time." Arizona interrupted the uncomfortable silence building up between the two doctors.

The older woman glanced at her before her eyes fell upon April again. "Without inviting me?"

"Actually." Arizona slipped down from the counter. "Callie and I planned on doing another girls night this evening. Youre both invited to come."

"I would love to." Addison smiled at her.

April and her friend shared a quick glance.

"Awesome! 8pm, my place."  Arizona stated before she waved them goodbye and left them alone in the room.

Silence fell over them once more until April decided it was enough. "I have a patient." She headed out but an arm stopped her.

"I know." Addison grabbed her wrist, pulling her closer. "I dont want to see her getting this close to you again, do you understand me?"

The young doctor nodded as she stared at her.

"I will see you tonight!" Addisons sultry deep voice caused April to shiver.

She had no idea how she was supposed to survive this evening.
