"Baby steps" I whispered as Elena slowly got out of the car
"I can walk dumbass" she glared at me "So shut up"
I chuckled and opened the front door "I'm... home?"
I stared at the guy at my table "who are you?"
"Who are you!" He asked and stood up
"Bitch I asked first" I growled
"Reece dear, this is Charlie" my mom sighed as she walked in "He's your cousin"
I looked at the guy. He had tattoos and a bullet scar in his arm. He looked like he's in his teens
"That's right your uncle doesn't know when to stop" my dad walked in rolling his eyes "He's your cousin who is moving in with us"
"Finally a guy close to your age" my mom laughed and Charlie went upstairs "You two were so close until you were 14"
"Um... Kayne and Dylan are my age... wait that's Charlie! He looks so different!" I sighed then Elena walked in and tripped. I caught her "Are you ok?"
"Lena!" My mom squealed and hugged her "It's been so long"
"Mom you seen her last week" I frowned
"Yeah but that's when you two weren't together" she sighed
"Mom... where's Char?" I asked
Elena's head snapped at me "You don't know where char is! Reece he's like our child!"
"Lena he's-" she cut me off
"Nuh uh you're gonna find him" she frowned "Or so help me Charming!"
"Calm down! I'm pretty sure he's with Caleb" I sighed covering her mouth
She bit my head and mumbled "He better be or he's gonna be the only thing closest to you having a kid"
I looked at mom "see what I have to deal with? Our relationship is abusive!"
"No it's not Reece, I've only actually hit you once and we weren't even dating yet!" She scolded
My mom laughed "Ok you two"
"Oh mom remember what we talked about? The whole apartment thing?" I asked
She nodded "yes dear"
"Well Elena and I thought about it... again. We wanna do it" I smiled
Elena nodded "I'm gonna go upstairs and grab my jacket"
Elena's POV
I ran upstairs "Audrey?"
She ran out "Lena!" She threw her arms around me and hugged me. Did I say hug? No I meant squeeze, tight!
"Ah Audrey ow!" I gasped as she let go
"Sorry?" She asked herself "No I'm not sorry"
"I have to grab my jacket" I said and walked down the hall into Reece's room "Audrey... where's my shit?"
"In his closet!" She yelled back "He cried every time he looked at it!"
I laughed then out my hand over my heart "My poor Charming"
"You call him Charming?" A voice ran out from behind me. My instincts kicked in and I turned around bagging him. "Damn girl" he cried
I gasped "Who are you!"
"Give me a minute" he looked up at me
My heart stopped "Charlie!" I squealed
"Yeah?" We made eye contact "Lena!"
I hugged him "sorry about your balls"
Charlie and I were best friends back until I was 14 "Wait what are you doing here" I pulled away
"Reece is my cousin and I'm moving in" he sighed
"Lena" Reece walked in "We gotta go"
"Can you wait?" I asked
He looked at Charlie then me "huh?"
"He was my best friend until I was 14" I frowned "Now babe can you wait?"
He sighed "Fine"
