Chapter 67: Run!

Elena's POV

I looked at Lauren then at Kayne "Ready?" I whispered

They nodded "I'm gonna put the key under the door and as soon as I do we run" I said quietly

"Shut up Caleb! I'm gonna stab you with this mob!" Reece yelled

I bent down "Freedom bitchachos!"

I heard them both go 'huh'

I shot the key under the door and I heard the key get shoved into the key hole. "Run!" I screamed

We ran up the stairs. I turned my head to see Lauren get dragged down the stairs "Go!"

I continued. I just seen my friend get dragged away like we're actually in a scary movie! Kayne looked at me before we turned the corner. We hid in the middle school hallway

"Ugh what are you doing here" a snobby voice sneered

"Shut up" Kayne and I snapped at Sophie.

"Lena!" I heard Reece's pissed off voice.

I slowly looked at Kayne and his eyes were wide "We need to go"

I nodded "Go!" We ran down the hall and turned the corner to the cafeteria. We ran into Lauren and she gasped "You're alive!"

"I got away but we gotta go" Lauren took a breath

"Oh Princess" I heard Reece say behind me

Lauren backed up and Kayne gasped as I heard heavy footsteps. I turned around and Reece was running towards me. "Shit shit shit"

Kayne tackled him "Save yourselves!"

Lauren and I ran up the stairs and hid in gym. I army crawled under some bleachers and took a breath of relief. Lauren crawled in beside me as we watched Reece and Caleb looked around for us. Kayne crawled in beside us "how'd you find us?"

"I seen you guys" he whispered

"Reece!" I heard a god awful shriek

"Leave me alone" he said looked around for us

"But Reece" Sophie looked down

"I don't care. You nearly tore the most important person away from me" he growled

"Ouch" Kayne frowned and I whacked him

She frowned and stomped away. "Reece" Caleb frowned "I can't find them"

He looked around making eye contact with me but he didn't realize it. He shook his head "I don't know man"

I slowly moved out from under the bleachers and so did the other two. We opened the door beside us and ran "they're getting away!"

I went face first into someone's hard chest. I looked up at him and frowned "Move"

"Nah" he chuckled

I went to the left of him but he moved to the left too. Kayne put his hand on the guys shoulder "Stop"

The guy rolled his eyes. Kayne threw me over his shoulder "Kayne this is kidnapping!" I screamed as he ran down the hallway. Him and Lauren were running side by side with me in Kayne's shoulder. I frowned "Kayne I'm capable of running"

He tripped and we collapsed on the floor. I hit the floor "oof!"

Lauren turned around "Are you ok?"

I nodded and stood up "let's go"

I turned around and hit another hard chest. I recognize the scent and I slowly look up at Reece "hi" I waved nervously

He chuckled "Oh you wait"

I smiled and kneed him in the balls "Oh my god!" He cried and hit the floor

"Run!" I yelled then laughed "Dude you know that vine where they're all like run"

Kayne's face deadpanned and he shook his head "We need to run!"
