Elena's POV
I took a breath as everyone accepted their diploma. Reece and I looked at each other. He gave me a tight smile then we threw our hats up. We all began walking out of the gym when I felt arms wrap around my waist. With my boyfriend on one side and all my friends all the other, we walked out of the gym as high school graduates.
We got a group picture and I smiled at it "You know I'm gonna miss high school"
"I will never forget the bloody nose you gave Sophia" Kayne chuckled
We all laughed and he kissed Audrey. Jordyn is now a month old and Audrey lost all the baby weight. I got a picture of Audrey, Kayne and Jordyn. They took a picture of me and Reece. Then we did another group picture. Then we started to cry "W-Why did it go by so fast!" Dylan screamed
"It seems only yesterday Elena was pouring lemonade in Sophie's face" Kayne cried
"Or we were locking Caleb and Reece in the janitors close" Lauren cried
Lauren and I exchanged looks before crying. We got a group hug and someone how Reece's mother managed to get a picture of our group hug. I smiled up at Reece and he smiled back at me. He pulled a key out of his pocket "Our first step to a new journey"
"Wait did you get the apartment?" I asked
He nodded "and let me tell you it's a nice apartment. 4 bedrooms, 2 bath. Huge living room and kitchen. The upstairs is great"
"Wait that doesn't sound like an apartment" I said
"That my love, is because it's not" he smirked
"Wait we got a house!" I squealed
He nodded again "Yeah... we do"
I jumped in his arms and kissed him "That's amazing!"
He put his arm around my shoulder and we turned back to everyone. They're all smiling and laughing at each other "This is it, isn't it? This is how it's always gonna be. Laughing and smiling with our goofy friends... except most of them are leaving for college"
He nodded "But they'll always come back. As long as we have food"
"I'm referring to the people actually leaving... not Kayne" I laughed
"Everyone's gonna come back" he smiled "We'll always be together even when we're not"
"Where did you read that?" I asked
"I didn't... I just know it" he kissed my head "Now let's go talk to our friends"
