After school on a Thursday we sat with her relaxed in the crook of my arm. A soft smile on her face. She was an angel in disguise. We were flipping through the TV when I stumbled across Beyoncé’s song halo. I looked at her directly in her face. The words have never made more sense to me more than before. As I mouthed the words to her I knew. I knew I was irrevocably hopelessly and pathetically in love with the girl who held my heart in her hands.
