I ran into the bath house, wide-eyed. Liz. That was Liz. Elizabeth. How? My-my best friend here-she was technically my aunt?
"What the Hades?" I yelled.
"Julie Anne! Get out of here, now!" I could tell she was fighting the water, she couldn't quite control it. I smiled, remembering the story of when my father blew up the toilets on his first day.
I was brought back to the moment by being doused with water. Elizabeth mouthed, "Sorry!" I stick out my tongue at her, then run to get Chiron.
Apparently, Chiron heard about it. "Julie-Anne, what's going on?"
"It's Liz! She's been claimed by Poseidon! She's in the girl's bathroom."
He dashed in. "Stop!"
I heard a loud thump followed by a muffled, "Ow." The water stopped spraying. The Ares girls came out of the bathroom, soaking wet, jaws dropped. Chiron helps Liz out. She's perfectly dry, but she's rubbing her head. Apparently she's the one who fell.
I rush up to her. "Liz, are you okay?"
"Yeah, just hit my head."
"Oof, that must've hurt."
"Not very much any more."
"How do you feel, knowing that you're my aunt?"
"Old."
I laugh at her response, and Chiron does too. "You do know, Julie Anne, that the gods don't run family lines like that, right? If they had a family tree, it would look like all the branches decided to weave themselves together."
"I know, my dad told me."
"Well, I should gather the campers. They need to know about this. Will you help me round them all up? Tell them to go to the amphitheater."
"Sure!" I say, happy to help. I run off to the other end of the camp to start there.
A/N:
Sorry that this Chapter's so short, I'm just not really into it any more. I'm thinking about discontinuing his. If I do end up doing it, I'm sorry for those out there who actually like this trash.
