Solaris ran her hands along the paper sitting on Sam's desk. She turned to face the two males, meeting Ace's eyes. Her heart skipped a beat as they met eye to eye.
No, she thought, shaking her head, turning back around, no distractions..
"Kale won't let Colby go under my saying," she started, running her hand through her hair, the strands catching her spikes on her fingerless gloves. "That's why you're here, Ace." She turned back around to barely see the zoned out male snap out of his trance, glancing at Sam.
"Indeed.." The blonde murmured, glancing up at Ace. "You're our only hope. You need to get Kale to trust you, and then somehow set Colby free.."
The black - haired male flickered his confused gaze between the two in front of him. Solaris couldn't help but zone out as she watched him flicker his gaze. She ran her fingers to the tips of her long brown hair. Information of the plan was missed this way.
"Solaris!" Sam's yell snapped her out of trance.
She blinked a few times. "Yes?"
"Ace said he would do it.."

Colby couldn't feel anything. His body was numb, and his head was twitching. His thoughts were clear, and the only thing running in his mind was the plan Kale drilled into it.
His eyes stared straight ahead, and his emotions filled with dread. His hands read to wrap around someone's neck.
Footsteps walked closer. Kale came into view. Colby didn't move his gaze from where it was. He couldn't.
"Look at me!" He growled, ordering the brunette.
His crystal blue eyes flickered upward to meet the green gaze of Kale. "Yes?" His voice was almost robotic and forced. His brain programmed.
"This is going to end well." The other male murmured lowly. "Okay. You understand the plan right?"
"Yes.."
"Good. Tomorrow we execute step one.."

Ace and Solaris were left alone in Sam's room. The blonde decided to go and take a walk to clear his head. The male looked at Solaris, she stared at her paper, her eyes shut tight and her hands on her head.
She seems stressed, he thought, his eyes glancing to the ground. What could I do to help?
Ace looked back up, standing up, he walked over to Solaris, tapping her shoulder. Her brown gaze met his. His heart skipped a beat. "You seemed stressed."
"I am," was her only response, standing up. She was shorter than he was, at least 5"5 while he was 5"7. Ace stared into her brown eyes, as beautiful as they were.
"You need help taking your mind off the stress?" He asked, backing up a little bit.
"How would you do that?" She inquired, tilting her head.
"I don't know," he rolled his eyes, "mediation. Talking. Whatever you want."
Solaris rolled her eyes, walking pass Ace. "I don't think much of anything could help my stress."
"I know a way," he murmured, hoping she didn't hear it. He scrunched his face when she said what.
She had that look on her face of; tell me now, but Ace shook his head.
"Why?"
"We barely know each other. Duh."
Solaris' eyes lit up in understanding. "Oh.." She looked at the floor when he nodded slowly.
Silence clouded the room. Tension as well. He looked at his watch. "I better go.. But I'll text you later?"
"Yeah definitely.."

Kale untied Colby's wrists and legs, but ordered the male to stay. He stood back up, sweat beating down his face. He forgot how tight he tied the knots.
His eyes lit up in satisfaction. Tomorrow he started phase one of his task..
This is going to go amazingly..
