~ opening ~

It's now the mid of April. Ace was pacing back in forth in his room, worried about Solaris. She didnt answer his phone calls, and refused to text back. She doesnt even open them.

Ace stared at the floor, out ruling any horrible possibilities. Suicide, however, kept running back to his mind. No matter how hard he tried to forget it.

It cant.. That can be why, he thought, shaking his head. Sam said he saw her last week, she should be fine. Right?

Truthfully, he didnt know. No one knew. She wasn't returning anyone's messages. They called her time and time again. Leaving her messages upon messages, and they still got no response. Nothing.

Ace stopped pacing in his room and sat on his bed. He stared at his phone, which was sitting on his desk. He knew he had to call someone, but who.. Sam and Colby were out, probably helping Colby catch up on more school work he missed.

He sighed lowly, laying down on his bed, admitting defeat.

Sam sat on the floor of his room, his textbooks opened. Colby wasnt home, and Solaris started ignoring everyone.

Secretly, he was worried about her. He slowly watched her deteriorate and she wouldn't let the blonde help. She would always say that she was doing fine, that they had put her on medication to help her.

Sam didnt believe her. Her grades were dropping significantly, and her focus wasnt there. She had no interest in drama, according to Colby, and she wouldnt get hyped over reading in their lit class.

Something more was going on with Solaris, and she wouldn't tell anyone. She's suffering alone and she knows it'll hurt her in the end.

Sam closed his science textbook, staring up and out of his room. His door was wide opened into the unlit hallway. His vision blurred as he thought about what Solaris might've done.. Suicide.. Ran away? The possibilities are endless.

Its not like he sat around and did nothing. Sam tried to help her. After all, she helped him get Sam back, but she continued to push him away. And just recently she started ignoring his calls and text.. But not just his. Colby's and Ace's too.. Solaris has completely ghosted everyone.

I think someone should go to her house and check on her, he thought, still staring out his room. If she really is hurting then.. She needs to talk to someone, she cant do this alone. No matter how much she says she cant..

Unfortunately, however, that is no longer the case.

( here's a trigger warning now for there will be suicide in this )

Solaris paced back and forth in her room. The ringing of her phone driving her insane. She has lost count on how many times someone has called or texted her.. She couldn't take it. Solaris grabbed her phone and threw it at her wall, it shattering and breaking on cue.

She backed into a corner, tears streaming down her face. This is the fifth time she now has broken down crying.

I.. Cant handle this. Her mind was in a panic. The thoughts, the anxiety.. Its all too much.. Nothing can numb the pain long enough. Not the anti-depressants, not the drugs.. Nothing can numb the pain long enough to forget.. Except one thing.. But I cant.. I...

Her breathing slowed as her anxiety attack passed. Solaris glanced over to her bed, where her noose was now located. Her breathing quivered. Was she really going to? She shook her head, but the inevitable pain from the next day haunted her. Her stinging wrist reminding her of what she is.

Solaris pushed herself off the wall, walking over to her bed. No one was home, and her phone was now broken. Nothing could stop her.. She picked up the noose, holding it in her grip, tears welling at her eyes again. She glanced over at the chair that was still in her room from her first attempt.

She walked over to the chair, climbing on top of it. Solaris quickly tied the rope to the roof, the loop begging to be placed around her neck.

Necklace of hope, she thought, slipping her head through.

Tears were now streaming down her face. Im sorry mom, dad, Sam, Colby... Ace.. She choked back her sobs. There was nothing you could do...

After a long, drawn out silence, Solaris pushed herself off the chair, the rope tightening around her neck..

Moments later, everything around her faded into darkness.
