~~~ Chapter 13 ~~~ Luke's POV
"What the fuck are you playing at?"
The breath was knocked out of me as two hands slammed me against my locker, sending waves of pain up my back.
"Ow!" I shouted at Michael kicking him off me. "What are you talking about?"
"You say you don't know her and don't like her and that you'll stay away from her and then three weeks later you're fucking flirting with her like she's a toy to play with?" Michael's eyes were blazing.
"Whoa what?" I asked.
"She says you were flirting with her."
"Aimee?" I was not! Was I? To be honest I'd kind of forgotten what flirting was, with not talking to girls for two years and all. I just sang and had like banter or whatever.
"Who else would I be talking about? What were you doing?" The stripy haired boy is seething.
I recalled yesterday. "Look I was saying how using stage presence was like performing a song so I played an old song of mine and sang it. It helped my acting okay?"
"Sure it did. What else?"
"Um...."
Michael slammed me against the locker again and I was glad we were alone so no one could see me writhe in pain. I didn't do anything! He was overreacting so badly it would have been funny if he wasn't trying to kill me.
"What happened to you?" I asked him,"What's this all about?"
"Every since you attacked me for telling her about your little 'secret' I've started to wonder the same thing." He spat at me.
"Ouch." I said, raising my arms in defeat.
"Listen," growled Michael, "she's my friend and she was beginning to get over you and now you're fucking messing with her mind but this time on purpose. Do I have to force you to leave her alone?"
I sighed exasperated. "Shut. Up."
"No! Tell me Luke! Tell me why all of a sudden, you seem interested!?" He slammed me yet again into the lockers and this time I stumbled and nearly fell to the floor.
"Get the fuck off me!" I shouted and pushed him back.
"Her friend Ashton already told me about the cutting," he sneered, "see what you do Luke? It's like you want to murder every girl."
"SHUT UP!" I screamed.
"Why Luke? Do you want to keep the real secret hidden?"
Without thinking, I punched him hard in the face.
"Don't ever speak of that again," I snarled and stalked away from Michael who was lying on the floor of the locker room.
