"Hit me with your best shot,
Fire away..."

"Let's make bets right now." Alex said. "Who will be the first to hurt themselves?"
"I got ten bucks on Avery." Sam instantly said, grinning.
"Dude, you're kidding right?" I said, glaring at him.
"No, I'm not kidding." he mocked.
He sucks, although he's probably right. My coordination isn't... the best, and everyone knows that. Then again, Sam is the one who constantly trips over his own feet, so this should be interesting. This trampoline place seems pretty safe though. There is padding everywhere, which can possibly prevent injuries.
Sitting down on one of the uncomfortable black benches, I slipped off my shoes and replaced them with these purple "jumping socks" the staff are making us wear. They have the grips on the bottoms, making sure we don't slip or whatnot. Honestly, the grips probably won't change anything for me. I will still fall just as often as I would without them.
"Who's ready?" Sam asked excitedly, jumping up from the bench.
Before he could get a response, Sam grabbed my wrist and dragged me over to the trampolines. Not many people are here at the moment, giving us plenty of space to goof around. At least we don't have to worry as much about crushing someone.
Shaking those thoughts from my head, I started to bounce on one of the square trampolines. Sam did the same, laughing a bit as he bounced around. He's a kid at heart, and it's quite amusing.
"I'm gonna attempt a flip." he said, still bouncing up and down.
I laughed, pausing to watch him. "It isn't going to end well, but go right ahead."
Sam waited a few seconds before attempting a flip. He succeeded in the flipping part, but he landed on his back rather than his feet. Like the caring girlfriend that I am, I stood there and laughed instead of helping him up. Watching him lay there on the trampoline is a pretty hilarious sight, despite his bitching about the rough landing.
Alex walked over to him, shaking his head. "For the love of God, Sam. We have been here for not even ten minutes and you already hurt yourself."
Sam grunted, sitting up. "Nah, I'm fine."
"Okay, whatever you say bro." Alex said, wandering off to join Spencer and Jillian.
After sitting there for a minute or two, Sam finally decided to get back up. For a while after, we joked around and, like usual, argued about pointless things. It was just us two, so no one was really around to stop us from being stupid. Jill, Alex and Spencer are off in the other corner, attempting to do gymnastics.
"There's dodge ball over there." Sam said, pointing to another spot in the building. "Wanna go?"
I shrugged, adjusting my Starbucks tank top. "Sure, whatever."
Sam went over to ask the other three, and ended up bringing them along with us. Dodge ball isn't something I'm skilled at, and someone always ends up hitting me in the face. We always used to play it during gym class in elementary school, and being the loser that I was, the target was me every single time. It wasn't really dodge ball. The game was more like "who can be the first to hit Avery in the face".
When we got to the dodge ball area, there wasn't a single person in there. Now we have to play with just the five of us, which should be interesting, to say the least. I have a feeling that the game will get intense real quick.
