Unforgettable

Chapter four

"Isaac wake uuuup" I slowly open my eyes to see Charlie standing in front of me. "Hey bud. What's up?" I ask. "I was bored and I didn't know what to do" He shrugged before running off. "That kid" I mumble before standing up. I walk upstairs and open the door. "Shit, I'm so sorry" I say my eyes widening as Lena slowly starts waking up. "I completely forgot you were in here" she yawns before smiling. "It's fine. But you owe me something" I furrow my eyebrows. "And what's that?" I ask. She thinks for a minute before grabbing my arm and pulling me down.

Before she can do anything I kiss her cheek and quickly stand up straight. "That's all I get?" She pouts. "Well it'd be kinda weird if I were to kis-." She rolls her eyes before pulling me back down, smashing her lips into mine. My eyes widen from surprise but I get used to it and end up kissing back. "Damn" I mumbled as I pulled away. Lena smirked before pecking my lips.

"Now shoo! Go make breakfast" she says pushing me away. "What? Why me?" I ask. "All I can cook is cereal" she says and I smile slightly. "Well that's all your getting" I say before running downstairs. "Hey!" I hear her yell. "Too late!" I yell back before walking into the kitchen. I pull out a bowl and some cereal, pouring it in. I quickly pour the milk in before setting it down on the table.

I walk over to the couch and gently shake Lisa. "Hey. Wake up" she groans before slowly opening her eyes. "What time is it? 2 am? Feels like it" she mumbles and I chuckle. Lena runs down the stairs before seeing the bowl of cereal. "God dammit. I thought you were joking!" She whines. "Guess I wasn't" I shrug and she punches my arm. I sarcastically gasp before tickling her.

"Let me go!" She yells as she begins to laugh. "Never!" I say before kissing her cheek. "Please?" I hesitate before nodding. "Fine. But next time I might not let you off that easily" she rolls her eyes before sitting down and starting to eat her cereal.

Lisa stands up and walks to the kitchen. I sarcastically gasp before grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the kitchen. "But there's so much food in there!" She says and I smile. "Well none of its yours. Also...you guys should probably go home soon. You've been here for a while and don't you think you should have some like...parent and child bonding time?" I say and Lisa giggles, making me smile even wider.

"What?" She asks as she furrows her eyebrow. "Nothing. Your just adorable" I kiss her cheek. "Whatever" she rolls her eyes but the slightest smile is showing on her face. "Alright. So I need to take Charlie to school but I'll be back soon" I say. "Ok, bye Isaac" Lisa and Lena say unison. "Charlie!" I yell up the stairs. He come running down I pick him up, setting him on top of my shoulders.

We get into the car and I buckle him up. "You ready for school?" I ask and he shrugs. "School is boring. And it's hard. We also get really bad food" he says and I chuckle. "That's kinda how I feel about school" I say before getting in the car and starting to drive.

"Alright Charlie. We're here. Listen, I need to go somewhere so I cant take you to your class. Will you be able to make it?" I ask and he nods. I unbuckle him and he starts to run off. Getting in the car I start to drive back home. "I'm home!" I yell before getting tackled by Lisa and Lena. "Did you miss us?" Lena asks. "Unfortunately" I say before being hit in the arm. "My feelings! I'm gonna lay in my bed, eat food, watch tv, and think about my terrible life decisions" I say before running upstairs into my room. "We're sorry!" I hear Lisa say. "I actually don't really care I just wanted to get away from you two" I say and the door opens revealing the twins. "Ouch" Lena says. "Well who let you in?" I ask as they sit down on my bed. Lisa shrugs.

"Hey, you guys should like...totally go home" I say and I get a pillow thrown at me. "You want to get rid of us that badly?" Lena asks and i shrug. "Maybe I do, Maybe I don't. Who knows" Lisa rolls her eyes. "Whatever" she says before gently punching my shoulder. "Can I go take a shower? I really need one." She mumbled the last part. "Sure. I mean this place is basically your house" I say and she shrugs.

"We do pretty much live here" Lena says. "See? Even your sister agrees!" I say as Lisa walks out of my room. "So..." Lena says. "So..." I say. "What now?" She asks. "Well. Do you want to talk about what happened earlier?" I ask and she shrugs slightly. "Yeah. We probably should" she says before laying back. "But...can we not do it right now?" She asks and I nod. I lay down next to her and she moves her head so it's on my chest.

"Really, lena?" I say with a small smile before I hear her giggle. I let out a quiet sigh before gently wrapping my arms around her. She closes her eyes and I wait until I feel her breathing start to become smoother and softer. As soon as she falls asleep, I start to close my eyes. I slowly begin to drift into a deep sleep.
