LEAH

Not long after the assassin had passed out Draco had passed out as well his armour creating an audable thump against the marble floor. The queen being the eccentric person she was couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, her brother kissing someone wasn’t an everyday sight. After a few moments she shifted her expression to suit the situation, she raked her eyes to the assassin a frown on her lips as she saw the broken jewel next to him. She was surprised that the assassin was male, the first time she saw him with his silver locks pulled up in a braid, kohl rimmed carmine eyes and petite body she almost underestimated him.

If it weren’t for Draco then the assassin would’ve died moments ago, she was impressed that his body was capable enough to hold the jewel’s magic. He would be useful to her and she hadn’t come across an assassin skilled as this one. Honestly she would’ve killed said assassin the moment she set eyes on him but seeing the jewel embedded on him, seems like her enemies were getting creative. She always wondered why was the life of a royal often sought out when people seem to see her death as a life goal.

Really I don't even do my job as a queen, Draco always does my stuff for me why don't they kill him not me?

But then again, who would dare kill the angel of death himself?

Voices made her snap from her train of thought and she lifted her head to greet her generals. Before a word came out of her mouth she was tackled onto the floor lace and fripperies obscuring her vision.

“Thank Solomon! When I heard your summons I almost had a heart attack!”

“Je’hel” said woman pulled back when she heard her name from the queen. Je’hel was a petite woman often mistaken as a child. Her long wine coloured hair was combed to perfection not a single stray hair to be seen. Her wide amber eyes held worry, her dress as usual had a lot of ribbons creating complicated patterns with frills lining the edge of it’s sleeves and skirt.

“What a very unladylike display” a deep voice snorted and Je’hel realizing this scrambled back to a standing position smoothing out the creases on her dress.

“I was merely worried for our queen, stupid brute”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say shorty”
said brute shot back. The brute was named Kiel and had a giant’s physique hovering almost 6 and a half foot tall. But despite his intimidating body his face always held a cheery smile, his moss coloured eyes seemed to be shining with amusement. He had long crimson hair tied back in a ponytail, his upper half was bare showing off his sculpted body he was wearing black loose pants held by a belt of snake bones. Sandals of leather and wood adorned his feet.

“At least have some decency and cover up your chest brute!”

She tuned out their bickering completely used to the pair’s insults to each other whenever they would meet.

Heal

Her body felt light and she could feel the cuts and bruises fading, she cast a grateful look to her most sensible general second to Draco. Mina was a beautiful woman, her midnight blue hair was let down save for the two braids on each side of her head. She was clad in black her dress and cloak covering her entire body except her neck and head and her eyes were always closed. Mina smiled towards her and turned to the two men unconscious on the floor.

“This magic….” Her voice always held a melody as if she was always singing (she is). Thank heavens the bickering pair had stopped and assessed the situation at hand

Je’hel picked the jewel which was now broken off the ground and studied it while everyone waited for her verdict.

“Its been a while since I’ve come across this magic, but thankfully it isn’t that strong as I could sense Draco’s magic. He cancelled it yes?” the petite woman asked the queen and she nodded.

“It’s some sort of life sucking magic right?” the crimson haired general asked as the petite woman smirked.

“Yes surprisingly a brute like you can observe that much”

“why you-“

“Anyway this sort of magic is very dark, it could turn the child over there into a doll” her face was grim which made the queen confirm her suspicions from earlier. Sure the assassin was quick on his feet but that speed he had displayed was something an average human couldn’t achieve without the help of magic.

“It wouldn’t stop using the vessel unless it’s objective was fulfilled whether the child is dead or not it would continue on using the child's body. ” Mina answered for her and the amber eyed general nodded. The queen huffed in frustration what kind of man was this assassin? He was willing to kill himself just to succeed his mission, bullshit.

People fight to survive this cruel world but this child seem to not care at all. How desperate was he?

“let’s talk about this later for now we have to attend to these two” Mina suggested and the queen let them do what they wanted. She sat there on the floor, she had to learn this assassin’s reason in killing her. She never cared about such things before and would kill the assassins without batting an eye. After all they’ve threatened her life, that was enough reason for her. She would always assume that maybe the bounty placed on her head was incredibly high but this feminine faced assassin didn’t seem to care about dying.

A gasp made her look at her generals, cocking an eyebrow and wondering about the ruckus. The three of them were staring at something, both of the females had shock evident in their faces while the crimson haired general had his face contorted into a snarl. She followed their line of sight landing on the tanned skinned assassin’s back.  Her eyes widened as she felt bile rise in her throat she forced it back down causing tears to brim at the corner of her eyes. She clutched her mouth shut and distanced herself from the sight. Her breaths turned ragged and her head began to hurt as memories resurfaced in her mind.

"Come on daughter of Zeus show me your power"

The scent of copper was vivid in her mind as well as the screams that she didn't know was hers. She trailed her eyes on the assassin.

Various scars of every length and size lined the assassins back a contrast to his tanned skin. Those scars were different from hers which she would proudly boast, they were battle scars proving her worth as a warrior. These scars were caused by torture some were thin white lines but most of it were fresh and she could see muscle and bone poking out from it.

The bandages on his legs were unbound and she could see a symbol as if it was burned onto his skin.
