Axton advanced towards me. "You're a pig" I whispered. This only ignited the fire inside of him. He pulled his leg back and swung it into my rips. I hunched over trying to hide my body from him. But that didn't stop him.
He kept kicking me in my rips and I could feel the bruising starting to form. My vision was getting worse. With one final kick Axton kicked me and I felt myself going in and out of consciousness.
My eyes closed and I felt like I was going to vomit. "Shit!" I heard Axton say, a hint of worry in his voice.
I felt hands on me and I was pulled up into a warm embrace. With every step Axton took with me in his arms my rips would ache, causing me to flinch.
"This is your fault, you made me mad." He said softly but it sounded like he wasn't certain as to what he said.
"D-don't hurt m-me." I mumbled. I felt cold and was unsure as to where he was taking me. I heard a door squeak open before I was softly place onto a bed. I try to open my eyes but all I could see was Axton walking back out towards the door, leaving me to suffer in pain. I closed my eyes once again. Why? Why me? I questioned myself. I reached up to touch the golden cross necklace hanging around my neck.

I must've fell asleep because I was awoken when I felt my shirt raise. I instantly began to panic and opened my eyes wide. Axton was sitting on the bed pulling my shirt up. I was scared as to what his intentions were until he said, "it's ok, I'm just cleaning your stomach up."
Not wanting to aggravate him, I laid back down and let him continue what he was doing. With a warm wet cloth he softly patted around my stomach. I looked down and was shocked when I saw green and purple bruises spread all along my stomach. After he finished cleaning off the dried up blood, he wrapped a bandage around my stomach.
"Please just don't disobey me again." He said before turning around and walking out.
I sat back up and looked around. I was back in the same room I was when I first arrived. However the sun was now beaming through the windows. I slowly swung my legs over to the side of the bed and hoped off.
My stomach was sore and begging me to lay back down but I didn't. I continued to the window and sat directly in front of it, letting the sun soak into my skin. The warmth was splendid and after a long time I closed my eyes and laid down in the heat of the sun. Enjoying some peace.
