Reason 40 and saying hello again

Think about all the things you have to look forward to.

I decided to get a tattoo and some piercings when I turn 18 in a few months, and thinking about that helps me get through the days. I know that when I get that tattoo, I will be proud of myself for having stayed alive long enough to see it on my skin.

Maybe you're excited to see family you have not seen in a long time. Maybe you can't wait for graduation. Maybe you're moving out and will start a new stage in your life. Maybe you're excited to hear your favourite artist's new album. Maybe you've just entered a new relationship, and you want to see how you guys will progress over time. Maybe something amazing will happen tomorrow and you just don't know it yet.

Or if you don't have something to look forward to, create something to be excited about. Look forward to finishing an art work you've been working on. Look forward to reading another one of your finished stories and\or poems. Look forward to tomorrow's sunshine or rain.

Anything has the potential to inspire excitement if you let it.

I hope you're all doing okay and that you've smiled at something or someone today.

After a year long hiatus (although I didn't think I'd be back)... I'm back. And I'll be posting more reasons and stuff to encourage you to stay alive, and I genuinely hope that it helps. I want to encourage you all to help each other out too, by sending your own reasons to stay alive either through the comments or pm or how ever else. I'm sure that it might make a difference to someone.
