I barely slept last night. I had gotten back to the dorm room after midnight and I woke up before six.
"Can I help you?" a young man asked as I entered the dining hall. He was currently placing plates on each table for breakfast.
"I was wondering if I could have a little something to eat," I asked as I stood in front of him across the table.
"Of course you can," he smiled as he placed the last plate on the table. "Do you want a chocolate muffin or something along that line? I can't make you pancakes because the kitchen isn't opened yet,"
After giving a small nod and a smile, he disappeared somewhere. Not a minute later, he came out of the room with a muffin in his hand.
"Thank you," I said as he handed me my breakfast. Without another word, I walked out of the room and down the hall.
Even with my lack of sleep, I was wide awake, the sugar from the muffin pumping through my veins.
"Well someone's early," Someone said behind me and I almost dropped my muffin in surprise. I hadn't realized that I had walked into the training room until Four spoke up. He was standing by the blackboard, writing down the names of the people we will be fighting. I didn't really mind who my partner was once I saw that it was Myra.
"I could tell you the same thing," I retort, finishing the last bite of my muffin.
"Very true," he laughed before turning his gaze on the blackboard once again.
"Do you mind if I practice a little bit?" my voice came out small in the room but I saw Four nod so he must have heard me.
I guess I'll just train and wait for training to start.

"There you are, babe," Peter's voice cut through the room and I immediately stopped practicing on the punching bag.
I didn't tell Peter what happened last night and I'm scared of how he'll react if I do tell him. But maybe I don't have to. If he asks me what happened yesterday, I'll just tell him that Eric helped me train, that's all. He doesn't have to know what actually went down.
I feel bad a second later. Am I actually willing to lie to him? He knows me more than I know myself and he'll obviously see that something is up with me.
Before I can over think things, I walk towards him with a smile. "Hey Peter, sorry I wasn't there when you woke up, I couldn't sleep."
"Yeah, I see that," he grabbed my hand and pushed me close to him. "Is everything alright?" His green eyes looked at me with worry and curiosity.
I didn't trust my voice to reassure him so I simply nodded and kissed him before he could ask any more questions.
"I have to go and check who I'll be fighting," he mumbled against my lips but I shook my head and grabbed the back of his neck, pressing his lips to mine once again.
"It's Tris, I already checked," I whispered and I felt him smile. He hated Stiff's and I know he was extremely happy that he'd get the chance to beat one up. There was no way that she would be able to beat Peter because for one: she's not as strong as him and two: he's probably one of the best fighters I know.
