I sit down with my friends, grinning widely. "Hello ladies and gents. How's the food?" I ask, taking a bite of an apple."Jughead isn't eating. I think he's dying." I gasp dramatically, Betty rolling her eyes playfully.
"Hey, it's Jughead prerogative to protest peacefully, so we're gonna support that, aren't we?" I nod in agreement as I spot Ethel, holding a Pops milkshake.
I cross my legs, "This ought to be interesting." I hum, my fork stabbing my food in front of me.
"Veronica?" The girl asks, catching V's attention.
Veronica smiles warmly. "Oh, hey Ethel."
The girl holds out the cup. "For your crimes against the town of Riverdale, for everything that you and your family have done and continue to do, we find you guilty." I cross my arms over my chest, raising a brow. "Your sentence is this." The smoothie contaminants splatter on my best friend. Everyone gasps, slowly dissolving into laughs. I feel the heat of anger run through my blood. If there's one thing this school needs to learn, don't fuck with my friends.
Ethel takes off, me quick to stand up. "Emmy!" My friends shout after me. I pass the Bulldogs, the Vixens, Josie and Kevin, the Serpents, all watching me as I storm after the girl I once called my friend.
"This is going to be goood!" Robin shouts, him and the Bulldogs all watching me from the cafeteria.
Ethel attempts to speed up, but its useless when I grab her by her mustard sweater, the once toxic face turns into anger as she notices who it is. "E-Emmy." She stammers.
My fists pin her to the locker, my eyes looking through hers. "I'm going to tell you something Ethel, you and your mental house you call your brain can try to intimidate whoever you want!" I grin a sickly smile, letting my hands throw themselves into the air. I grip onto her white collar, shoving her harder into the locker. "But you're messing with me now. Whatever you do to my best friends, you do to me. So I recommend you make sure what you're doing is worth it before the action." I tap my finger on my chin, "Because next time, maybe you won't be so lucky." I grin. I look next to me and kick open her locker, surprised to see another milkshake, just in case she couldn't use the first one. By now people from the cafeteria had migrated into the hall, watching closely as I hold the styrofoam cup above Ethel's head, crushing it and causing it to splash all over her as well. She looks at me in horror.
"You're crazy!" She screeches, running off. The crowd claps slowly as I turn around, curtsying to them.
Cheryl runs up to me, jumping up and down. "You bad ass little girl!" She grins. Toni and Sweet Pea stand to the side watching as I excuse myself, running to find B and V.
I walk into the bathroom to catch the two as Veronica is finishing up cleaning herself. "Don't worry V, I think I got her real good." She laughs as she squeezes her hair, letting water get pushed out.
