Cheryl and I scream as we sprint up the stairs, the murderous psycho taking a swing. "Emmy!" We turn into her bedroom, locking the door. Cheryl sobs in terror as we look around for a weapon.

"Cheryl!" I whisper, letting out a yelp as the Black Hood hits the door. I point to the window, both of us catching onto the plan. We both open the window, jumping down quickly. "You sure you'll be okay?" I ask, running with her to the guest house where her archery apparel sits.

She scoffs, pulling a red latex cape...thing over her. "Of course, Emmy. I can handle him. Go find Reggie." She insists, grabbing her now and arrows. "I'll call." I nod, running over to my car as I poop (authors note: i see the typo but it's amazing so i just want to leave it right here i apologize) in the seat. I crawl into the back seat, pulling on an extra outfit before grabbing my phone. I let out a scream as I watch the Black Hood stalk towards me, an arrow just passing by his head. He stops, looking around for the source. Cheryl comes out of the clearing, pointing the arrow at who must be our uncle. "I suggest you run whilst you still can." My sister snaps. I look between the two, breathing heavily as the masked man stands his ground. "I only miss when I mean to." He takes one step forward, causing her to release the the wooded point, striking his shoulder.

He lets out a grunt, running off as Cheryl smirks, hopping in the car. "Why'd you let him go!?" I scold.

"Oh please, Emilia." Cheryl scoffs. "Betty is going to save the day." She pulls out her phone. "Speaking of, lets call her."

The phone rings twice before Betty's voice answers the line. "Cheryl."

"The Black Hood just attacked me and Emmy  at Thistlehouse." Cheryl blandly responds.

"Oh, my God. Was it my dad?" Betty gasps.

I slump back in my seat. "Based on waistline alone, it could've been him, yes."

"Luckily, I was able to get to my archery set and hunting cape." Cheryl smirks over at me, causing me to chuckle under my breath.

"You didn't kill him, did you?"

I scoff. "No. We're not monsters."

" I shot to wound, hit him in the right shoulder. He's fled into the woods, where I plan to track him. But just in case he escapes my clutches, be forewarned." Cheryl looks over at me, her face serious. "Now that he's a maimed animal, he's operating on instinct, ready to lash out and kill anyone in his path, even his loved ones." She hangs up the phone, sighing. "You, go find Reggie, Archie, whoever. If Fangs was shot, and Reggie had a gun-"

"They're going to blame him." I whisper. "Oh my god the Serpents will tear Reggie apart!" I scream.

Cheryl nods, handing me a gun. "In case you need it." I look up at her, baffled, she rolls her eyes in reply. "I grabbed it in mother's room. Don't get all hostile." She hops out of the car, waving goodbye, before taking off in the woods.
