Marley Moseby is the niece of the hotel manager Mr. Moseby and is best friends with Zack and Cody Martin and London Tipton.
When she attends Seven Seas High on the S.S Tipton, she runs in her friends and makes new friends as they travel the world.

"Look!" London called out proudly to the rest of us, "I made a Welcome Maddie sign!"
I saw that it was a pink sign that read: LONDON TIPTON welcomes Maddie. London's name in large purple capital letters and Maddie's in small font size.
"Yeah, I guess I do see Maddie's name if I squint really hard," Cody replied sarcastically leaning at the sign.
"Who?" Caleb glanced at me.
"A long time friend of ours' from back in Boston," I answered gesturing at Cody and myself.
"Is Maddie here yet?" Zack asked approaching us.
"No, she's not," I replied.
I could tell he was eager to see Maddie again. For a long time, he had a huge crush on her.
"And Zack, you smell different. Almost good," Bailey remarked.
"Well since Maddie's coming, I went a little wild with the hygiene," he responded.
"Is that cologne? Aftershave?"
"Soap. That stuff actually works. Maddie will never let go of me."
Zack pulled out a sandwich from his pocket and took a bite out of it.
"Ugh, depends on what's in that sandwich," Cody remarked who held his nose.
"Who knows. I just pulled it outta my underwear drawer," Zack replied.
I gave him a grossed out expression and stepped a few away from him avoiding any whiff of his sandwich.
"You know, I'm surprised Maddie could afford a vacation like this. London's always telling how tragically poor she is," Bailey spoke up changing the subject.
"Well she saved up her babysitting money," Cody answered.
"And her candy counter tips," Zack added.
"And all the change from between her couch cushions and finally had enough money," I jumped in.
"From the bus ticket to the airport."
"So I paid for her flight to meet us. Coach of course. Wouldn't want her to feel out of place," London smiled.
Uncle Marion came over to us singing and dancing cheerfully about Maddie's arrival. On seeing us staring at him, my uncle stopped having already embarrassed himself.
"What I was saying was that I think I saw Madeline on the gangplank," Uncle Marion quickly added.
"Ooh! Marley and I are gonna take Maddie shopping right away!" London said excitedly.
"No you're not, I'm gonna take her to dinner," Zack frowned at her.
"After I take her to the ship's planetarium," Cody jumped in.
Next thing, Zack, Cody, London, Bailey, including Uncle Marion started arguing. Caleb and I tried to get them to stop so we'd figure that we could work something out to where we could all hang out with Maddie during her visit, but no dice. I noticed Maddie approach us.
