Jackie's P.O.V.
I swear to god, I'm going to scream if I spend one more minute in this damn car. I took an annoyed breath, my mother must have heard me, because she said "Jackie relax, we're almost there." I rolled my eyes and looked out the car window. I can't believe I'm moving, I mean I'd never thought I would, expect when I graduate high school and go to college, like isn't that the only time you're supposed to move? Well I guess not because here I am about to start high school and I'm moving to a new house, in a new town, in a new state!
About ten minutes later, we pulled into our "new" driveway. The house was okay, it was painted in a very calm, light shade of neon green, with a door and windows painted white, classic. The inside I guess wasn't bad, it had a good sized living room that overlooked the front yard and in the back was a kitchen that overlooked the backyard. The only thing I really liked about the house was that it had three bedrooms. I have an older sister named Mackenzie and at our old house, we only had two bedrooms, so Mackenzie and I had to share a bedroom and let me tell you how happy I am to finally have my own room. Two reasons, one: I finally don't have to put up with her snoring anymore. Two : We don't have to argue about whose things are whose. Don't get me wrong we love each other to death, but we do know how to push each other's buttons.
The moving truck arrived two minutes after we arrived, we started unpacking right away because Mackenzie and I started school tomorrow, even though it's June and there's only one week of school left. Our mother says "Even though school almost over, it's good to at least make one friend." I do agree with her, no one wants to sit around all summer and have nothing to do or have no one to hang out with. Well that's how I think of it because there's only one thing I care about: baseball. Back at my old town, I was known as the "baseball girl" everyday after school, me and a bunch of boys, would go play baseball and the whole school would watch.
I was quite famous, for only a month. when I hit a home run and the ball went out of the park. I know what your probably thinking, a girl that plays baseball and can do things most girls can't, is most likely any boy's dream girl. Wrong. Boys in general, liked me... as a friend. Boys in my old town, I guess liked "girly" girls instead of tomboys, like me.
Mackenzie and I waited outside while the movers brought in the furniture.
"So, what do you think about the place?" Mackenzie asked
"It's okay, I guess." I replied honestly
"I agree, it doesn't feel like we're home."
"That's because this isn't our home."
Mackenzie was about reply, but she was interrupted by our farther telling us to go get our boxes out of the truck and start unpacking. When I walked into my room, my bed and dresser were already set up, all that needed to be done was unpacking. I only had about 10 boxes, I don't have a lot of stuff, to be honest. Most of my clothes are boy clothes, the reason why though is because, I play baseball, think about, do you really think it would be easy to run in a dress?
About three hours later I was done packing. I brought all the empty boxes into the garage and went back inside to my mother and father discussing if we should go out to eat or not. We had leftover food, from restaurants we had stopped to eat at. My mother finally decided that we would just eat leftovers. We all ate in the kitchen, talking about how the unpacking was going, apparently I was the only one who was done. "Ok it's almost 10:00, looks like somebody's bedtime." Mom said. I threw my food away and gave my family a good night kiss. I went to my room and put on a night shirt then went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. For some reason my stomach was upset, not like "have to go to the bathroom pain" it was a nervous pain. Why was I so nervous? I try to shake off the feeling and climbed in bed, but I got nervous again, ugh, I put my hand on my stomach, rubbing it, I closed my eyes and I drifted off to sleep.

Hey guys!
I would like to thank you all for reading my first chapter of my first book.
So, if any of you don't know who Benny Rodriguez is he's not a real person, he's a main character in the movie "The Sandlot" this movie was made in the 1990s, most of you should know it... and also should know that the movie takes place in the 1960s, so I'm also going to have the book also take place in the 1960s.
Also if you haven't notice that my title say "pregnancy fanfiction" yes I know Benny is like 14 but it's my story, my rules....
Anyway thx for reading, I'll most likely be updating my second chapter tomorrow or sometime next week!
