Chapter 4

Armin's POV

Year 850, 5th March, 2 o'clock p.m.
The whole plan was ready and pretty simple. Eren had to turn into a titan, grab a giant boulder and seal the hole in the wall of Trost district. Problem was, would Eren be able to control his titan? I don't want to imagine how many people he'd kill if he went berserk... I thought with a small frown.

I looked up at Eren, who seemed very determined. I placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled softly "If things go wrong, I'll be there to help you. Alright?" I said while looking at him. He looked back into my eyes and grinned "I count on you then" he chuckled.

Finally Commander Pixis gave the signal and a few higher ups of the Garrison, together with Mikasa, ran off towards the boulder. I looked down from the wall, apparently my plan of keeping the titans away was working. Hopefully it'll last long enough... I thought with a troubled expression.

Some time went by after Eren had transformed, but when I saw the red flare I instantly got worried. What the hell happened? I didn't waste any more time to think and ran off towards the boulder area.

When I arrived there I saw Eren's titan form sitting down, apparently non-responsive. "Mikasa! What happened to Eren?!" I asked worried, landing on Eren's nape. "He went out of control and knocked himself out!" She said, sounding worried as well.

"Well shit.." I frowned "I'll try to get him to respond!" I said while holding my blades tightly "It might hurt a little..." I mumbled as I lift up one of my blades. "Armin what are you doing?!" Mikasa shouted from the roof.

I simply ignored her and stabbed the sword in Eren's nape, but not in the middle or he would've died. Immediatly he started roaring and thrashing around, almost knocking me off, but I held on tightly.

Once he calmed down he seemed still non-responsive, and titans were coming closer. "Goddamnit Eren..." I growled softly and climbed up on the boulder "The things I do for you..." I muttered as I quickly changed in my wolf form, it was either that or letting Eren be killed by the titans.

It had been years since I last used it, and I was surprised of how much I grew. I was around 9 or 10 meters by now, and this came as a great advantage in this situation. I saw Mikasa looking at me with wide eyes, but that was the last of my problems.

I quickly launched myself on a 10 meter titan, biting its neck, trying to damage the nape. Suddenly I saw more titans too close to Eren and quickly threw the titan in my grasp towards them, knocking them away.
C'mon Eren goddamnit! I thought frustrated and tried to move the boulder myself.

I guess this thing doesn't roll...it seems stuck.. I huffed at that and quickly started nudging Eren, waiting for any kind of response. Suddenly I heard a small growl coming from him and I nudged him more That's it Eren, wake the fuck up! I thought and my body filled with relief as a pair of green eyes opened up.

He looked at me curiously, tilting his head like a puppy. I would've loved that moment to last, but there were more titans heading our way. I growled and nudged him again. He slowly got up and huffed, picking up the boulder with some effort.

Once I saw he was stable I ran towards the titans incoming and smashed on the ground the smaller ones, while I bit and threw around the bigger ones, creating a free path for Eren.

I looked up at him, he was back to his normal self and was putting all of his strength in it, I could see that. Many soldiers died that day, but for the first time, humanity had won a battle against the titans.

I quickly shifted back to human. The hole was sealed, now we just had to take Eren out of his titan body. I quickly climbed up on the titan, where I could see Eren coming out of the nape. I took him out with ease and jumped down on the ground.

"Eren? Can you hear me?" He asked worriedly but he just mumbled some gibberish. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a soldier with a green cape approached us "Oi, brats" he said with a frown "You might want to tell me what the hell is going on here" he glared at both me and Eren.

"The wings...of freedom..." Eren whispered and just then I recognised the emblem of the Survey Corps. Well...things just started in the wrong way I guess...

I growled frustrated as I looked at the chains on my wrists, it had been an hour and I still couldn't manage to take them off. "Armin, seriously, stop it before you hurt yourself" I heard Eren say, who was sitting on the bed, chained just like me. We were lucky enough to be put in the same cell at least.

"Well at least I'm trying to do something to pass the time" I mumbled as I sat on the cold ground of the cell "As far as I know, trying to hurt yourself is not a way to kill time" he remarked "Says the one who bites his hand to transform into a titan" I spat out "Well at least I don't look like an angry puppy" he rolled his eyes.

"Huh? Say that again Jaeger!" I frowned and pinned him down on the bed with a smirk "I caught my prey~" I purred with a smug look then suddenly I started tickling him.

"Wha-?! No! Armin! Haha! Stop it!" He started laughing while squirming beneath me "Stoooop! I'm super ticklish!" He squeaked "That's why I'm doing it!" I chuckled in amusement.

But after a while I decided to let him breathe. He was looking up at me with half lidded eyes while panting softly. That was a sight to remember...

"You're an asshole..." he breathed out "Not as much as you are" I smirked, sitting on his stomach. "Oof! Get off! You're heavyyy" he whined dramatically "You're...killing...meee..." he whined some more and then pretended to be dead "Jaeger, are you saying I'm fat?!" I asked, pretending to be offended.

"Oh c'mon! I'm supposed to be dead and you worry about if I called you fat or not!" He protested and pouted "Mhhh yes?" I chuckled and laid on top of him "You're warm..." I mumbled. He just chuckled and hugged me close "You're just like a baby..." he said softly "I wasn't the one whining like a child 10 seconds ago" I smirked while looking up at him.

"Oh really? Very well Mr. Smarty Pants, get away from my warmth" he said, pushing me off of him. "Eh?! Nooo! Eren c'mon..." I whined as I clung onto him "I thought you were a wolf, not a koala" he smirked again. "Shut up, Jaeger" I rolled my eyes "Make me" he said with a challenging look.

"Oh I will.." I smirked softly and pinned him down on the bed again. I could see a faint blush on his cheeks, which made me smirk more "Humans are so pretty~" I cooed and gently pressed my lips on his. They were as soft and as plump as they looked.

I slowly pulled away to see a very flustered Eren, he was as red as a tomato and I couldn't help but laugh at the sight. "Is someone shy? Mh?" I chuckled and kissed him again, to which he became even more red. "This is going to be a very entertaining night" I smirked as Eren gulped nervously.
