Double Date

India POV
Quincy and I have this arranged double date with August and Autumn, I'm so not feeling it. I called my sister to see if she could watch the girls.

Christina- Hello sister!

I smiled.

India- Hey sis. What you doing tonight?

Christina- Well Chris got tickets for him and CJ to see the Warriors basketball game. So Londynn, Royalty, and I are just gonna stay here and chill out.

India- Can the twins join?

Christina- Of course my nieces can join. What you doing tonight?

India- Double date. With August and Autumn.

Christina- Oh god. I thought Autumn ain't like you.

India- She doesn't, but oh well. This ain't about me and her it's about Quincy and August meeting.

Christina- Your right though. I hope it goes well, who's gonna drop the girls off?

India- We gonna drop them off when we on our way to the restaurant.

Christina- Alright cool, see you soon.

I hung up the phone and started doing my makeup. The twins walked in the room and jumped on my bed. "Ma, are you going out with Q again?" I chuckled, "yes." Aleyah smiled, "I like Q. I dont know about A'leeyah though." A'leeyah rolled her eyes, "he's not my dad. So I don't like him."

I sighed, "he doesn't have to be your dad for you to like him Lele." She huffed, "I guess." I put my lipstick down and looked at her, "me and him been dating for almost 2 years Le, give him a chance." She rolled her eyes and sighed, "ok."

"You gonna stop rolling your eyes little girl." Aleyah laughed, "she think she grown." A'leeyah hit her with the remote, "shut up!"

"A'leeyah! Why would you hit her with that?" She shrugged, "shouldn't be talking." I sighed, "you need to stop acting like this. I'm not kidding."

The doorbell rang and both them jumped up, "I'll get it!!!!" I sighed and turned back around fixing my dress.

Autumn POV
"Why I gotta go with you? Isn't this about just you and her new man?" August sighed, "it's a double date meaning 4 people have to be there." I rolled my eyes, "you know I don't like her though."

August rubbed his face, "for what though? Give me good reason why you don't like her." I sighed, "do you see the way she acted at my baby shower? Then on top of that she wouldn't let the twins come to the hospital to meet their brother."

August stood up, "bro get over it! I talked to her about the baby shower incident already. Just come please."

I stood up and looked at my outfit, "i'm only going for you August." I walked out and went into Anthony's room. "Where you going mommy?" I picked him up and gave him a kiss, "out with daddy."

He started to whine, "I dont want daddy to go!" I sighed, "we gotta go baby. We will be back in 2 hours, I promise. And I'll make sure daddy bring you something back." He smirked, "okay!"

"Gabby's gonna watch you. Okay?" He smirked, "gabby the baddie." I opened my mouth, "gabby the what?!" He ran off, "nothing!" I rolled my eyes.

August POV
"Let's go Autumn we running late." This girl be late to everything, damn just come on. She came down the steps looking annoyed, "why the hell did Anthony just call gabby, gabby the baddie?" I started dying laughing, "she heard that shit from Marcus."

Autumn rolled her eyes, "I hope he don't say that around her." I laughed, "he not, trust me." As I walked out to get the car ready Gabby showed up, "hey Gabby!" She smiled and waved at me, "hey Mr. Alsina."

Gabby and I walked inside, "alright Autumn lets go, Gabby is here!" Autumn walked over to the door and hugged Gabby, "hey Gab. He's upstairs in his room. If you want food, there's some on the stove. And you got our numbers." Gabby nodded, "have fun tonight." Autumn rolled her eyes, "mm we gon try."

India POV
We showed up to the restaurant before Autumn and August. I know what y'all probably thinking why the hell did y'all wait 2 years for August and Quincy to meet.

I didn't know Quincy and I would become serious, I wanted to keep us a secret for a while. But then August showed up to the house one day and Quincy was sitting on the couch. August kept staring at him, but Quincy didn't pay him any mind.

They met a couple after that, but it was always a hi and bye never nothing serious. So tonight was something serious. "Babe are you listening?" I nodded, "oh uh y-yeah." Quincy gave me a straight face, "so what she ask you?"

I chuckled, "I really don't know, i'm sorry." Quincy sighed, "she said upstairs or downstairs? inside or outside?" The waitress was looking at Quincy up and down and licking her lips.

I cleared my throat, "um excuse me honey, upstairs inside, thank you." She gave me a mean look, "mm right this way." I looked at Quincy, "yeah better be right this way." Quincy laughed.

2 hours later..

The night was going good, August and Quincy seem to really hit it off. I turned to Autumn, "I'm gonna run to the restroom, do you have to go?" She looked up from her phone and rolled her eyes, "mhm."

She got up and followed me, "lord help her before I kill her," I mumbled. We got to the bathroom and I washed my hands, "hey look Autumn, I know you don't like me. But for the kids sake, let's just be cordial." She nodded. I sighed, "that's all you gonna do is nod?" She nodded again. I rolled my eyes.

"The way you acted at my baby shower was uncalled for, and the fact that you didn't even bother to let the twins come to the hospital to see Anthony is crazy."

I turned around, "I apologize for the baby shower incident. But the thing with the hospital, the twins didn't want to go. They told me they didn't like the fact that their daddy had a baby by another women."

She opened her mouth, "oh my gosh. Really?" I nodded, "yeah that wasn't anything against you or your son. The twins just didn't feel comfortable. And I don't want my girls going somewhere where they are gonna feel uncomfortable."

She nodded, "I totally understand. They adore him now I see." I nodded, "yeah I guess so. How is he?"

Autumn sighed, "girl he is terrible! he's so damn bad." I chuckled, "A'leeyah too." Autumn laughed, "they are August Alsina kids." I nodded, "they sure the hell are."

We walked out the bathroom and back to the table. "Hey you two," I said kissing Quincy. Quincy smiled, "hey babe, we was just talking about you." I looked at August suspiciously, "why? And about what?"

August chuckled, "relax. We was saying how you a good mom. Damn, gotta give me the eyes and shit." I chuckled, "yeah cause you be saying shit." He laughed, "nah not this time."

I smiled, "but thanks. I try. We gotta get going though babe." Quincy looked at his watch, "oh yeah we do, before A'leeyah start beating me up." August and Autumn laughed. "Alright y'all I enjoyed dinner, we gotta do this again and bring the kids."

I nodded, "yes we do." August hugged me, "give the twins a kiss for me." I nodded and hugged Autumn, "goodnight."
