I was getting ready to go with Chris to his parents house when I got a text message from India.

SissyPooh👭- OMG SIS GUESS WHAT?

  - WHAT HAPPENED?

Im so happy for my sister she got who she want. I knew they were gonna become a thing, it's obvious they really like each other. I got in the shower straightened my hair and put on my tan dress with my heels.

Tonight was the night I was telling my mom about Christina and I is engagement. I know she's gonna be happy cause she loves us together.

Stina been there when I was struggling. Shes really my world I want her to have my baby. But she wants to wait.

Christina walked in the bathroom, "Babe how I look?' I kissed her, "Like my wife." She smiled and walked to the mirror, "Appropriate enough for your mom?" I looked at her, "What you mean? You look gorgeous." "See now I know. Love you." I shook my head, "Love you too, now lets go."

We grabbed hands and walked to the door. I ringed the doorbell and waited. Haven't seen my mom in months! She opened the door and screamed, "my babies are here!!"

She gave us hugs and kissed me all over while Stina laughed. "Dang ma." She slapped my arm "Oh hush boy. You know you love my kisses. Congrats Christina, you graduated college.

Stina hugged her, "Thanks ma and yes I'm so proud of myself." My mom smiled and kissed her cheek, "Im proud of you too baby girl."

We walked to the dining room and said hello to everyone. My moms chefed it up. She made fried chicken, bbq chicken, and bake chicken. Mac and cheese, collard greens, string beans, white rice and yellow rice. And mad deserts. I ain't even know she was having all these people over.

I stood up and banged my glass getting everyones attention. "Excuse me everyone! I would like to announce something."

Christina stood up and held my hand. "I'm engaged to the most beautiful educated women. I love her with everything in me. She's my everything. I just wanted too let you guys know we have a new member of the family."

My mom cried and everyone clapped. Christina even teared. My mom, Stina, and I gave a group hug. "Congrats to my babies," my mom yelled.
